Epilogue: Leshy

I watch as Linden plays with our children in the river. We have two twin girls with their mother's strength. And a son with Linden's eyes. All three are forces of nature. My little wild things.
Linden's crows are flying around playing with them. There are more crows now though their mates and children have joined our little clan. We also have some black bears running through the river with us. I can't believe I got so lucky after my long, long life to have this much happiness.
Linden catches me watching the scene and walks over to me with a warm smile on her beautiful face.
"Hello my love. How is everyone?" She always wants to know how the forest is when I get called away from her. "Is there anything I can do?" She's so kind-hearted. I am beyond lucky to have her as my mate.
"Everyone is fine.,lyubov moya. Just an unattended fire from a camper. I caught it in time. No one was hurt." I reassure her.
"Oh good. I wish people would take more care with stuff like that." She is amazing. She leans up and kisses me. I wrap my arms around her. "I'm glad you're back."
"Me too. I love you" I say with a smile and another kiss.
"I love you too"
Absolutely perfect.
