Back in the VIP room, the lights were dim and soft music played in the background. Angela, still pretending to be Nancy, seat beside Vice Governor Henry Willow. He looked at her with a puzzled face. “Something feels off,” Henry said, sipping his wine again. “You okay, Nancy?” Angela forced a gentle smile and shook her head. “Nothing, Vice Governor. I’m fine.” Henry nodded slowly. “Hmm. Alright then.” Angela lowered her eyes and said softly, “I want to rest now. I’m a little tired.” Henry looked at her for a moment, then shrugged. “Sure. Go ahead. I’ll stay here and finish my wine.” Without another word, Angela turned and left the VIP room. Her heart was pounding as she closed the door behind her.
