Her eyes, once filled with sadness, now looked wild—like someone who had lost her grip on reality. She crouched in front of the skeleton laid gently on a white cloth inside the cabinet. “Don’t worry, my daughter,” Mila whispered sweetly, brushing her hand over the skull like it was made of glass. “Angela is here now.
