Lustful Obsession

Inside his cramped office tucked away behind the lively bar, Luke Samonte sat tensely, his brow furrowed as he listened to the intimidating voice of Sandy Guillermo crackle through the speakerphone. "You have five days, Luke," Sandy's gravelly voice growled through the receiver. "Bring Nancy to me, or I'll make sure your precious bar is nothing but rubble." Luke gripped the edge of his desk, trying to keep his voice steady. "Sandy, you know Nancy. She's not like the others. She's... different." "Different? I don't care if she's got wings and a halo. I want her, and I get what I want," Sandy snapped back. "Make it happen, Luke. Or you'll regret the day you thought you could defy me." The line went dead, leaving Luke staring at the phone in disbelief. He knew Sandy's reputation—a ruthless man who didn't take no for an answer. Luke couldn't imagine what Sandy would do if he didn't comply. Adam, Luke's loyal assistant, hovered in the doorway, concern etched on his face. "Boss, what are we going to do? Nancy's not going to go willingly with him." Luke ran a hand through his hair, frustration mounting. "I know, Adam. She's adamant about not getting involved with anyone. Dancing's all she lives for." Adam hesitated, then spoke tentatively. "What if... what if you made her an offer she couldn't refuse? Like... making her your wife?" Luke looked at Adam incredulously. "My wife? Adam, you know I like Nancy, but she's not exactly the marrying type. Besides, I can't just force her into something like that." "But it would protect her from Sandy," Adam pressed on. "If she's your wife, he wouldn't dare touch her." Luke sighed heavily, considering the idea. "Even if I wanted to, which I do, I can't see Nancy agreeing to marry me. She's fiercely independent, and marriage isn't something she's ever mentioned." Adam's eyes lit up with a sudden idea. "What if... what if you were the one to, you know, be with her first? If she's already been with you, then she wouldn't be pure anymore, right? Maybe then Sandy wouldn't want her." Luke grinned greedily at Adam's suggestion. "She might just go for it." Their grins quickly vanished when they heard a commotion outside Luke's office. Raised voices and the sound of scuffling feet drew their attention. Adam moved to open the door cautiously, but before he could react, a stout figure pushed past the bouncer and barged into the room. It was Mr. Tony Belmont, a well-known but aging casino owner with a reputation for both wealth and volatility. His face was flushed with anger as he glared at Luke. "I need to talk to you, Luke," Tony barked, his voice echoing in the small office. The bouncer moved to intervene, but Adam held up a hand to stop him. "Let him in." Luke met Tony's furious gaze with a cool demeanor, though his mind raced with the implications of Tony Belmont's unexpected visit. "Tony, don't make a scene in my bar. You know the rules." Tony sneered and threw a bag of money onto Luke's desk with a thud. "I don't care about your damn rules. I want Star, and I'm willing to pay for it." Luke and Adam exchanged a glance, but Luke shook his head slightly. "Tony, your money isn't enough." Tony's face turned red with embarrassment and frustration. "How much more do you want, damn it? Name your price for Star." Luke sighed, his voice firm. "I'm sorry, Tony, but Star is already spoken for. She's bought by my boss." Tony's eyes widened in shock. "Your boss? Who the hell is your boss?" Luke's expression hardened as he replied, "My boss is Mr. Sandy Guillermo." Tony staggered back as if struck. His reputation in the city was formidable, but even he knew better than to cross paths with Sandy Guillermo, a wealthy and ruthless mafia boss with fingers in every pie. "You work for Sandy Guillermo?" Tony's voice was incredulous, filled with a mix of fear and disbelief. Luke nodded solemnly. "Yes, Tony. And you know as well as anyone what that means." Tony paced the room, his mind racing. Dealing with Luke was one thing, but tangling with Sandy Guillermo was another entirely. "Damn it, Luke. I can't believe this. What am I supposed to do now?" Luke leaned forward, his tone serious. "I suggest you leave, Tony. There's nothing more to discuss here." Tony glared at Luke for a long moment, then turned on his heel and stormed out of the office, leaving the bag of money behind. The tension in the room lingered even after he was gone. Adam closed the door quietly, his expression troubled. "Boss, what are we going to do now? Tony Belmont won't take this lying down." Luke rubbed his temples wearily. "I know, Adam. This complicates things even more. Sandy's reach is wide, and Tony won't back down easily." "We can't keep fending off people like Sandy and Tony forever," Adam said, his voice edged with concern. "What if someone else comes along with an offer we can't refuse?" Luke sighed, staring at the bag of money on his desk. "I don't know, Adam. We'll have to think of something. But for now, let's focus on keeping the bar safe and figuring out our next move." Adam leaned against the bar counter, a determined look on his face. "Boss, I'm not giving up. I'll find us another pretty woman who can dance like Nancy. We need someone to keep the patrons happy." Luke nodded thoughtfully, swirling his drink in his hand. "You're right, Adam. The more dancers we have, the better. We need to find someone pretty and innocent-looking. That's what draws the men in." Adam straightened up, his eyes scanning the bar as if searching for the perfect candidate. "I'll start looking tomorrow. There must be someone out there who fits the bill." Luke chuckled softly. "Make sure she's as talented as Nancy. We can't afford to disappoint our patrons." Their conversation turned to Nancy, the star dancer whose presence lit up the bar every night. Adam leaned closer, his voice low. "And what about Nancy? What's your plan for her?" Luke's grin was sly as he leaned back against the bar. "I'll play it smooth. Invite her for a drink after her performance, make her feel special. And then, when the time's right, I'll make sure she ends up in my bed." Adam's grin mirrored Luke's, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Smooth as always, boss. Nancy won't know what hit her." Luke chuckled softly. "Exactly. She won't be able to resist."
