Everyone gathered round the table, waiting for Ava.
"Sorry I'm late" she said and quickly sat down.
As they carried their fork, ready to eat, Ava stopped them.
"Wait!" She yelled.
"What is it Ava?" Erica asked softly.
"We have to pray!"
"Argh!" They groaned loudly.
"We waited for you for more than five minutes, what else? I'm starving!" George said.
"Sorry for the inconveniences but we really have to pray. My mother was a woman of faith and she expect us to thank the Lord for everything"
"I don't go to church" Calvin said.
"I read my Bible once in a while" Erica said.
"I don't even have a Bible" George added.
"See, that's why we have to pray"
"Fine, let's pray" Erica said.
