The sight of border posts ahead makes me nervous for some reason. Returning back to my mate's Kingdom so early wasn't part of my original plan. But here I am seated beside him and Michael on a carriage that is part of the small escort made of a few soldiers on horse backs and two carriages.
The King's carriage in front has only Evan's servant in it. I was so glad when Edward agreed to join the journey back. He actually seemed happy that I had to choose to accept Evan's help.
