Liam’s POV
As Shania says “The first time he hit me…” I can’t help the intense rage that builds up in me. I knew…I just somehow already knew the story was going to take this turn, just as I already know its going to get worse. I don’t realize I’m shaking in my rage until Shania says “Liam. Maybe we should continue later..”
“No!” I almost yell, then soften my tone. “No, baby. I want you to continue. I’m sorry I distracted you.”
She looks at me uncertainly, but I need her to continue, and tell her so. She places her head back on my shoulder.
