I pull into my parking early on Monday morning. I know Mr Morgan had made it seem like I was doing him a favor by coming in to brief Mr Hardy’s nephew, but I opt to treat it like a normal work day. He didn’t tell me what time to be available, so I decided I would be there early, and ready to meet at anytime. Its still to early even for Ava to be in as yet, so I head to my office in my lab instead. I feel like I have come home. I sit on my trolley chair and hug my desk, like a silly child. I check my emails, and answer some. I send an email to Ava to let me know when Mr Morgan’s stand-in wants to meet me, then I call to let Leah know I’m back.
Ava calls me at 09:30 to let me know I should be up at 11 a.m as the new boss is already in, and busy with Misters Hardy and Oberoi at the moment.
