Shania’s POV
It’s the end of the semester, a few weeks to Christmas and 3 weeks since I had told Liam about my dark history. We didn’t discuss it again, apart from me briefly telling him about the aunt who had been deployed from India to care for me until I was 18, who had claimed compensation for her sacrifice, and returned to India with a sizable chunk of my inheritance from my mother. I also told him of my plans to sell that ill fated house once I was done with college. Liam was of course both shocked and impressed that I had continued to live in that house, but he was in favor of me selling the house.
