May 3rd, 2015. Haven High, Haven Valley. 07:30am. Dante Alexander Prentice stepped out the school bus and inhaled the fresh air. He wore a white t-shirt and black jean pants with a black leather jacket bearing the school crest and a cap over his short snow-white hair. He hung his bag over his shoulder then walked into the school. He walked through the hallway then came up his locker and opened quietly, “Hello Prentice,” a female muttered. Dante c****d his head to see a girl smiling at him, she had long black lustrous hair that laid against her chest and bottle green eyes staring right at him. That was Irene Maria Hale, Head cheerleader and Dante’s acquittance. And as usual, she was in her black cheer-leading outfit and a leather jacket just like Dante’s. “I texted you five times last night and got no reply.” Dante took out his things then smiled at her, “Why was that?” he asked as he pulled off his cap and they both walked towards class. “My mum was going crazy ‘bout some issue she had at her work place and I couldn’t stand her. You were meant to be my saving grace but you didn’t even reply my message, pretty boy” she complained silently. Dante chuckled then shook his head, “Sorry ‘bout that Renee, I was at d**k’s.” he said and gulped, “I shouldn’t have told you that.” Irene pouted, “That d**k!” she yelled and turned in anger, “I’ll see you later, pretty boy.” She uttered and ran off. Dante smiled, “Don’t do anything I wouldn’t!” he sighed, “She’s gonna kill him.” He said and chased after her. Haven High Library. 07:45am. Richard Marcus Jones sat in the Haven high library reading a book on the history of the town Haven when Irene grabbed hold of his collar and slammed him to the wall, “You f*****g uneducated low life b***h!” she mumbled with a frown. Richard stared then looked past her to see Dante watching silently. He exhaled then looked back at her, running a hand through his brown curly hair, “Hello Maria, beautiful morning, isn’t it?” he said faking a British accent. Irene hit him hard then jerked him forward, she stared at his books then at him, “You’re the reason pretty boy ridiculed my text messages.” “I am unaware of that but I do apologize for that, cupcake.” He said with a silly smile. Irene couldn’t help but smile, “You’re lucky we’re dating, d**k. I would have had your ‘heads’ long time ago.” She said and kissed him. Dante chuckled, “Thank goodness.” He whispered then disappeared into the crowd of students watching the two.   The Prentice chateau, Haven Valley. 04:05pm. A black dodge charger drove up in front of the chateau. Dante got out then looked in the car, “Thanks for the drive ladies.” He said and gave a grin. “Anytime Dante!” the girls yelled and the car raced off. Dante smiled then turned and walked toward the entrance when an arrow stabbed into the door right in front of him. He looked back to see a younger girl aiming at him with her bow and arrow, she had long snow-white hair tied in a ponytail and wore an all-black long-sleeved bodysuit and pants, “Afternoon brother, tell me…how was high school?” she asked with an evil grin. Dante rose up his hands in admission of defeat then looked round, “Jacob?” he called. “Hanging by the legs, sir. I will be unable to help you today, sir.” An elderly man in a butler get-up slurred from a tree branch. Dante looked at her, “Don’t do this, Raven.” He said and walked backward slowly, “You have no right to kill me…yet.” Raven pulled the arrow, “No tricks brother, I have you now.” She smiled, “Who says I have no right?” Dante smiled, he stepped aside slowly, “No, you don’t.” the door open with a lady in her late forties stepping out of the chateau. She had long snow-white hair tied in a ponytail and wore a blue two-piece suit. Dante turned to the lady and bowed his head, “Mother.” The lady looked at Raven, “Raven Emily-Elizabeth Prentice, lower your weapon and bring Jacob down before I get angry.” She said then walked back into the chateau. Raven lowered her bow then scowled at Dante, “Next time, brother.” She looked up at Jacob, “I’m sorry, Jacob.” “No problem, Miss Raven.” Dante smiled then looked at Jacob, “Want anything, Jacob?” he asked. “A blade will be nice, sir.” Dante slipped a pocket knife out his sleeve then threw it at the man. The man caught it and exhaled in relief, “Thank you, Master Dante.” Dante smiled, “Anytime Jacob.” He said and walked into the chateau. The Prentice Chateau Dinning room. 07:15pm. Raven walked into the dinning room in a long flowing evening dress. She came up to a long dinner table and sat facing Dante. The table had two others seated and waiting: Madam Lucia Anne Prentice (mother of the two) and Cassandra Hope Prentice (the Grandmother). Dante smiled at Raven then looked up at his mother as Jacob took away their leftovers. He stood and bowed, “I’m heading over to d**k’s for the night.” “And why is that?” Lucia asked in a cold tone. “Probably because he’s scared of being killed by his little sister.” Cassandra muttered then looked over at Raven. “Yep, that’s the reason Grandma.” He said and smiled, “Bye everyone.” “Hey mister, you forgot my kiss.” Lucia muttered coldly. Dante sighed and walked over, he kissed her cheek then went over to Cassandra and did the same. Raven looked up at him then shook her head, “Don’t you even think about it.” She said and looked away. Dante shrugged and walked out. Jacob stood outside waiting beside a black Lamborghini, “I have your ride, sir.” “Thanks a lot, Jake.” he got in and smiled, “I’ll see you when I get back” “Sure sir.” He stepped back and Dante drove out swiftly.  Haven Lake, Haven Valley. 08:07pm. Two girls played in the Haven lake. They splashed some water on each other then stopped and came up to each other and kissed. Two figures watched quietly from the darkness, “They seem unaware of our presence,” one of the muttered in a cold slithering voice. “That is because they are mere humans. How ‘bout we take them? Use them to get our ‘friend’.” The other spoke then gave an evil smile. “Make it quick. He’s coming our way.” Lake Road, Haven Valley. 08:10pm. Dante drove down the road with the stereo blaring loudly. His phone rang and he took it and tried to answer when two figures appeared out of nowhere. Dante swerved and the car smashed into a tree. He groaned in pain and felt blood drool down his forehead, “Where the f**k did they come out from?” he mumbled then got out the car. He walked toward the road to see two girls about his age looking lost, “You guys okay?” The girls looked at him with black soulless eyes, they rose their hands and a tree rose out the ground and flew at him. He jumped away from it then looked at them in shock, “Prentice, show us what you’re made of.” “Who the f**k are you guys?!” he asked in shock. The girls c****d their heads in accord, “We’re the reapers.” they muttered and sent a wave of energy at him, smashing him against a rock. The girls stared at him and then looked at each other, they shook their heads and frowned, “We expected better, Prentice.” They walked over and tried to pick him but a radiant figure appeared and grabbed hold of the two by their throats and sent them flying into the darkness. The figure turned to Dante and gulped, “Dante, stay with me.”
