Jasper
She was gorgeous it was maddening. I had to stick to the plan. Stay focused. I wasn't supposed to like this girl. But she was a walking temptation. And what the hell was Apollo's deal. Axel was a dumb name to begin with. And he kept smiling at her like some creep. Why was I jealous?
We stood on opposite sides of the elevator watching each other. I was supposed to be mad at this point but I found my anger slowly diminishing. She was still in her bikini her blonde hair still tied up in a pony tail. I was undeniably drawn to her. She had no idea all the things I wanted to do to her right now.
For the love of all things evil, focus Jasper!
"I was having fun you know." She said sighing. I scoffed loudly making her roll her eyes.
"Clearly." I mumbled doubting she heard me.
"Didn't you bring me here to have fun." She asked. Why was she so set on this?
You want to have fun Thalia? Okay, let's have fun.
"I did." I responded walking towards her.
"So..."
"I brought you here to have fun with me."
"What if I don't want to have fun with you?"
"I don't like sharing." I said standing in front of her. I saw her shiver slightly before she looked up.
"You know you don't own me right?" She whispered. My hands wrapped around her waist and I pulled her closer.
"Oh but I do Thalia. I own every inch of you." I whispered in her ear. She smelled so good.
Before she could respond I started kissing her neck. God her skin was so soft. Her hands wrapped around my neck immediately. I trailed my kisses lower and bit the skin near her collarbone. Her moan only drove me crazy. I was gonna take her right here in this elevator if she wasn't careful.
I picked her up off the ground and pinned her to the wall capturing her soft lips with mine. She kissed back almost instantly. I think I just found a new obsession. I could get used to this. The way she tasted. The way she felt pressed up against me. Her intoxicating sent wrapping itself around me. She moaned again and my mind went blank.
That's it. Might as well have a little fun with her.
I flashed her into the hotel room and dropped her onto the bed. I hovered over her. Her legs still wrapped around my torso. Our breathing frantic. Lust swimming in those enchanting blue eyes of hers. I lowered myself our lips only inches apart. But no, we just had to be interrupted. What the actual f**k? I turned my head and found myself looking at a very angry Amelia. I smirked knowingly at her.
If it isn't the crazy ex-girlfriend.
"You have horrible timing Amelia." I said. I felt Thalia tense from under me.
Well this is fun.
.......
"You had no right to take her off the island." Amelia yelled. This was frustrating.
"She's been stuck on that island for years Lia. The girl's twenty one she needs human exposure."
"If she continues exposing herself to humans it'll only weaken her." She said making me roll my eyes. God. Ares could have picked anyone else to be her guardians. He had to go pick the two people I had history with. He did it out of spite I was sure. He hated me even though we worked together. Allison was okay. Amelia was just a b***h.
"Come on Lia live a little. I brought her here for her own good."
"Oh please. You didn't do it for her. You brought her here for your own selfish reasons."
"Maybe I did maybe I didn't. Why do you care?"
"Because!" She yelled. I raised an eyebrow in response. Oh wow.
"Because...?" I asked.
"Oh don't look so smug. Because I'm her guardian."
"Really? Is that the only reason? Because as far as I'm concerned Ares doesn't mind our little rendezvous."
"Ares is just as insane as you. Let's not forget you both fell for a pair of blue eyes."
Yep, totally jealous.
"I'm not in love with her."
"Then what's with the obsession?"
"I'm not obsessed."
I think.
"Sure you aren't. By the way...I talked to her mother since Ares doesn't seem to care. You have twelve hours before she's teleported back to the island. Use them wisely." She said before disappearing.
I plopped down on the couch and raked my fingers through my hair. I really hated Amelia. Just great. This was gonna put me behind schedule. Thalia came out of the bedroom in short shorts and a white lacy top. My eyes raked over her body a small smirk made its way on my lips. Well might as well get started on those twelve hours shouldn't I.
"Is she gone?" She asked.
"Yep." I said standing walking towards her.
"What did she say?" She asked backing away. She stopped walking when her back hit the wall.
You can't get away that easily.
"Let's go do something fun." I blurted out.
"And what might I ask do you have in mind?" She asked. Well that was an easy question.
You naked beneath me screaming out my name as I drive you to absolute ecstasy. Among other things. Okay now I'm losing it.
"Let's go sky diving." I suggested shoving my thoughts to the back of my mind. She stared at me wide eyed.
"No."
"Yes."
"Jasper!"
"Thalia!"
"Stop that?" She growled.
"Stop what?" I asked laughing.
"I'm not going sky diving with you."
"You suggested us jumping out of a plane."
"I was being sarcastic Jasper. Don't you know what sarcasm is.?"
"Sweetheart I invented it."
"Ugh!!" She said before shoving past me.
.......
I watched Thalia's sleeping figure from the door. Her chest rising and falling softly. I had managed to convince her to come with me. It mostly involved me grabbing her and dragging her into the plane. And when she wouldn't jump out I had to shove her out. Was I worried she wouldn't pull her parachute and end up killing herself. Yes, yes I was. But luckily she didn't die. Not yet at least.
I made sure we did everything we could in a little amount of time. We even went back to the beach so she could have a little fun surrounded by people. She fell asleep on the car ride back from our shopping spree. She was gonna go back to that hell hole. Not that I cared. But if Amelia wanted her to survive she was going to have to use another method. I was still lost in thought when Allison popped up next to me.
"You here to take her?" I asked not looking away from Thalia.
"No..she still has 30 minutes." She responded. "She won't cooperate with us after this."
"Well duh. She's living a primitive life with you two."
"Isn't that why your henchmen just finished building her a house?" Allison asked.
"I don't know what you're talking about." I shrugged.
"She's really special isn't she?" She whispered.
"She's as special as a person in a prophecy is. Once it's all said and done we'll never cross paths again."
"I know you Jasper. I've known you for more than a century. It won't end after all this."
"You think you know me." I said.
Walking out of the room I made my way back to the beach house. Apollo's words still making me uneasy. Just as I walked into his kitchen his voice stopped me.
"You're getting too invested." He said from behind me.
"In what?" I asked turning.
"In the girl. You're starting to be too protective."
"She's an asset."
"And you're a liability Jasper. One of two things has to happen tomorrow. Each one leading to a different scenario. If you stay the ending won't be in your favour."
"What do you want me to do?" I asked in defeat knowing not to question him.
"Hurt her. Make her hate you then leave. Two months away from her should do it or one and a half. Actually one and a half."
"Fine." I said. "I mean causing pain is what I'm good at right."
"Good."
