She sat silently on her throne listening to the way his fingers gently pressed the ivory keys. Despite its serene nature it did nothing to calm the burning rage she felt. She was still seething. Still wrapped in a cloud of hate. A deep chuckle was heard from piano just as he stopped playing. "I take it Adeline brought bad news." He said in amusement getting up. "You find my impending doom amusing?" Persephone asked. "Quite the contrary mother. I find your assumption that you're doomed amusing." "That idiotic Oracle of Delphi just told me she saw a new queen in my place. That brutish Ares and his w***e Aphrodite are gonna have a little devil spawn. I'll die before I let her take everything away from me." She said. "You'll die because you're so over dramatic," He sighed "All she did was tell you a prophecy you're supposed to tell Hades when he gets back." "Your father doesn't need to know about this. The prophecy talks about an heir and describes her to look just like Aphrodite. So either one of Aphrodite's children will take over as queen or Hades is going to have an affair with her." "The second option is out seeing how in love with you my dear father is. And I honestly don't know how you can tell what Aphrodite looks like with her changing faces." He shrugged. "I just can." "Look mother I'll help you only because I don't want you going insane. Besides it's me who she's a threat to seeing as I'm the underworld's true heir." He said getting up. "I trust you to break this prophecy down and deal with the issue Deimos." "Relax mother. For all we know it'll be centuries before this prophecy is even fulfilled." Deimos said walking out of the throne room. He smiled to himself after seeing his mother's reaction. He had heard that prophecy already. But unlike Persephone he had heard the full thing. It was easy convincing Apollo and Adeline to join his side. Manipulation was his specialty, a gift if you will. The plan was easy, keep the second half of the prophecy secret while he built his army. Olympus was going to fall at his hands and he couldn't wait. "This is going to be a lot of fun." He chuckled to himself.
