Unknown.
He sits hidden away in the shadows up a tree, watching as the events of the evening unfold.
He thought Karyssa would be alone for a few hours before the event. He thought he would have been able to get her. He thought scaring her would have her running into his arms out of the building.
Then that i***t Biker had to show up and interrupt the plan and save the event. So here he sits, waiting till the event is over.
He had planned on taking her tonight. He still wants to take her. He just has to change his plan a little.
After standing here watching the i***t Biker flirt with her all evening, the event was finally over.
What the f*ck. He kissed her. Why would the biker touch what isn't his.
He stayed where he was until everyone left the parking lot, but Karyssa, his bird.
He hopped in his truck and followed her. When they pulled up to the stop light, he pulled close behind her, and he decided to send her a text.
Him- fly little bird fly.
Bird- please leave me alone or tell me what you want.
Him- I want you.
Karyssa's POV
She read the text, a wave of fear washed over her. The light turned green, and she took off, she notice the truck behind her was getting a little too close, so she changed lanes. Unfortunately, the truck followed suit. She would speed up, and so would the truck. Slowing down wasn't an option. The truck turned on its high beams, partially blinding Karyssa. She swerved but remained on the road driving.
She ran 2 stop lights and 3 stop signs. The truck stayed right on her tail the whole time. She was starting to panic. She knew the turn-off to the house was coming up, but if she took it at this speed, she would most definitely crash. She knew the bike club house was just a few more miles up, Maybe she would be able to figure something out. She couldn't hit her call button, and her voice was too shaky to get her voice commands on her phone to work.
The turn-off to the club house seemed to be a large enough curve that Karyssa didn't have to slow down to turn. She didn't indicate that she was turning and just turned. If she crashed at the speed she was going it would scrap her up pretty bad, but she would live, as long as she didn't hit her head she would be able to get up and run through the trees hopefully getting away.
Her heart raced faster and faster as the turn got closer. She had to keep reminding herself that everything would be okay. Do not slow down. She tried to calm her breath so she could focus on the road.
The truck was litterly inches away from her back tire. Any form of slowing down, she would be hit. The trucks headlights were still reflecting in her bike mirrors, blinding her.
'Alright Karyssa, the turns is the next road,' she thought to herself.
3..2..1.. turn...now,' she thought to herself as she turned.
The truck kept driving. She was safe for a moment. She kept going figured she needed a break. And seeing Liam would help her calm down. She made it to a gate where 2 guys were standing. Club house my butt, this place is more like a compound.
"How can we help you?" The younger of the 2 asked very rudely.
"Is Liam here?" She shakenly asked.
"No, he isn't here." The rude guy grumped out.
"Um.. okay, I'll just give him a call. Thanks, though." She turned back to her bike to grab her phone. She heard the 2 guys whispering.
"We got a problem," the other one questioned to the rude guy.
"Nah, just a junkie looking for Liam," the rude one said.
She called Liam.
"Hey, Siren, you miss me so much you had to call to hear my voice?" He chuckled out.
Shakenly and scared still, all she said was "Liam" before the flood gates burst open, and she began to cry. What she wanted to say was,'I'm outside the gate to the club. I need to see you.' But what came out was...
"I... gate.... club... help." She said in between stutters and sobs.
The next thing she knew, she saw headlights pulling up the drive where she just came from. The truck found her. She panicked.
The truck stopped. The next voice she heard, which came from the truck, made her sob even harder.
"Siren?" Liam said worriedly.
"Liam." She said back.
"Hey, Prez, we weren't going to let the junkie in promise." The rude guy spoke up.
"Say something like that about her again, and you will be banded from every club and business we own. You got me?" You could hear the anger in Liams voice. "Open the gate, let us in, you idiot."
They opened the gate, karyssa drove in, and Liam was right behind her. When they both were parked, Karyssa ran into Liams arms her sobs were uncontrollable. She thought she was going to die.
"Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to see you, but what happened?" Liam seemed concerned.
"I..I...I.." She stuttered out.
"Hey, breath with me. In." They both took I deep breath in "and out, " letting out the breath. They did it several times.
"I pulled out of the parking lot, heading home and a truck pulled up behind me at a stop light, the light turned green and the truck got super close I tried to switch lanes the truck would follow so I sped up so I could possibly ditch the guy and he just followed. The truck driver turned on the high beams and was like inches away from my back tire. I was so scared. I couldn't slow down to make the turn to the house, but I knew I would be able to turn at your club house driveway. I just had to be prepared for it. I thought I was going to die." She rambled on squeezing harder.
"Hey, you're safe now." Liam rubbed her back. "How about we go in and some water." He said, leading her to the building.
They walked in, and it wasn't what Karyssa was expecting. Most MCs are dirty and messy. People screwing everywhere. This building was nothing like that. There was 2 pool tables lining one wall with guys playing and girls sitting against the wall, a bar on the opposite side of the room with couples sitting around one side and the guy who drove a car to the event tonight was behind it serving drinks. There were lounge chairs and a few couches in the middle, and they also had couples sitting except one chair. Everyone was talking laughing and having a good time. Karyssa spotted Sugar, who was giving her a dirty look.
"Hey Chucky, I need a bottle of water." Liam said, knocking on the bar with his free hand, the other was still wrapped around crying Karyssa. Chucky tossed him a water and went back to cleaning glasses.
"You want to stay out here or go back to my room?" Liam questioned her.
"Um.. I don't really feel like being around anyone at the moment." She whispered. Liam ran his hand down her arm and stopped at her hand, grabbing it to hold it so he could lead the way.
Karyssa felt like she was on the verge of breaking down again. They went down a hallway, and she saw a set of steps and several doors.
"The guys who are in the club have rooms here that way. If they need to stay, they can. The rooms down here are the guys you met on Thursday, the rooms upstairs are for the newer guys and the girls who stay here we call them club bunnies, no s****l stuff outside the bedrooms aswell, we have way to many kids running around here, plus I don't want to see all that of some of these guys." The more Liam talked, the more Karyssa calmed down. They reached the end of the hall, which had 2 room 1 to the left and 1 to the right. The left one had dirt bikes all over the door and Zack in the middle. "That's Zacks' room. He's in there getting ready for bed. I was on my way back from dropping off Rocky and his wife when you called me. We do t normally stay here, but the guys wanted to hang out tonight, so we decided to stay here." Liam said, stearing Karyssa towards the right door.
President was on the door, that was it. She decided she would ask why later.
They got in the room and looked around a king-size bed in the middle of the wall across from the door. 2 doors on the left wall with a desk in the middle of the 2 and a dresser and bookshelf on the right. Picture hung along the walls. Karyssa smiled to herself seeing the pictures.
*Ring* Karyssa about jumped out of her skin when her phone went off.
She pulled it out, seeing Pals name light up the screen.
"Hello," She answered.
"Hey, I figured you would be home by now. I'm just checking on you." Pals' concerned voice came through the phone.
"Um.. yeah.. umm. " She was trying to figure out what to say without making him panick.
Liam held out his hand for her to give him the phone. "Here, let me," he whispered to her. She handed him the phone and walked to the bed, and sat down.
"Hey man, it's Liam. Yeah, she's okay. There was an incident with a car driving inappropriate it was safer for her to turn at the clubhouse instead of your road.... yeah... um, yeah, she's going to stay here tonight she's too shocked up tonight to drive... yeah, okay, I'll tell her.... bye." She listened to Liams side of the conversation.
"I gotta step out for a second. Are you going to be okay here for a second?" Liam asked her.
She nodded, and he turned to leave. Stopping and pointing to a door.
"That door is the bathroom, if you need to use it." He said, leaving the room.
She got up and walked to the bathroom, doing her business and splashed water on her face, then she walked back to bed.
Liams POV
After he got off the phone with Pal, it was time to say good night to Zack. Zack says he's too big for a lot of things, but he will never be too big for Liam to tuck him in at night.
Once he was done, he walked back to his room and realized Karyssa had passed out on his bed.
'She is so beautiful,' he thought to himself.
Her phone dinged
Creep - you almost flew to close to the sun little bird.
