Talk

When Karyssa pulled into her spot at the house Liam was already outside waiting on them.

"Hey Unc." Zack said jumping out of the car.

"Hey Kiddo, go ahead and go in Cats waiting on you." Liam smiled at him yet the smile did not meet his eyes.

Karyssa walked around the car and leaned on it, facing Liam.

Zack walked in and Liam walked over to her. She was worried nothing good in her life ever came from 'we need to talk.'

"Liam." Was all she could say.

"So..." He hesitated.

"Listen if you're mad about me taking him shopping you can suck it up, I'm not taking it back nor do I want your money." Karyssa rushed out.

"Woah, I didn't know you took him shopping." He got closer to her.

"Well then what do you want to talk about, because you're freaking me out." She blurted out.

"All I needed to talk about was I need to postpone our date." He looked down. "I'm sorry there's to much going on I have to figure out where to put everyone for a few nights until we are able to get the damage assest, see when we can rebuild, and god knows how long that's going to f*cking take... um whats wrong?" He was rambling on until he looked up at her face. She was super annoyed and her face showed it.

"I swear Liam, if you ever tell me that you need to talk, you had better be telling me something very serious, telling me you don't ever want to see me, or dying. I was so freaking nervous on top of being freaked out by the freaking haunted house that had my face all over the walls." She was going on as Liam interrupted her.

"Wait what are you talking about?" He questioned.

"The address that you sent me."

"That I didn't actually send you."

"Whatever, I knocked on the door and it creaked open, I took a step in and a photo of me caught me eye so I went closer and saw the was of where the living room would go had photos of since I moved here lining the walls, here I took some pictures." She pulled out her phone to show him.

"Well thats not creepy at all." He said scrolling through the photos.

"Wait you said you needed to figure out somewhere for people to stay, why don't you ask Pal about the cabins on the property. I know there are a few that are empty and can hold quite a few people." Karyssa suggested.

"I'll have to talk to him. I guess Zack can go stay at his grandparents for a few weeks." He trailed off deep in thought.

"Or you both could stay with me." Karyssa spoke up. Liam looked shocked and excited at the thought. " I mean we can get a couple air mattress rearrange the furniture a bit to fit you guys." Liams face fell. He wanted to sleep in the bed with Karyssa again.

"Let's go talk to Pal first." He said turning and walking in the direction of Pals security shed.

With it getting close to the beginning of school not very many people are using the cabins right now.

They walked up to Pals shed and knocked to let him know they were coming in. Pal sat at the monitor screens that kept an eye on the trails, there was a group of teenage boys on the trails he was keeping an eye on when they walked in. Pal glanced over at them. He looked tired, but that didn't stop him from smiling.

"What can I do ya for?" He asked.

"Well Pal, I came to talk to you about something. As you know the club house is unavailable at the moment, so is alot of the other buildings on the property, and Karyssa here says a few of the cabins on your property are empty, is there anyway we can rent them from you for awhile? We will pay whatever you agree upon." Liam spoke with hope.

"I was about to come talk to you about that actually." Pal said. "There are 4 cabins that are available 2 are 2 bedroom 1 bath sleeps 4 comfortably and the other 2 are 4 bedroom 2 bath sleeps 8, I assume you and Zack are staying with Karyssa Cat had an air matress hauled up there already. I have 4 more cabins that will be available on Monday, but that's all I have right now."

Liams face looked more relaxed than when they walked in.

"Buddy we will take it let me know price and we will get you paid, I can also make some of the guys help you out around here, I know you got a few upgrades you are slowly working on."

"Why don't you get whoever need be settled in and then we can talk about rates I know you and the guys are tired." Pal kindly offered.

"Sounds good man." Pal stood up and hugged Liam, "we will catch the guy." He whispered in Liams ear.

Liam stepped out to make a few calls get some people over here. There were 2 families of 4, 1 being Blues family and the other being Road and his family, Karyssa hadn't met Roads family and new very little about him.

The 1 of the bigger cabins was going to be for the club bunnies, the other was going to be for the few couples that couldn't get a room at the motel.

"Kar." Pal said grabbing her attention. "If you're not comfortable with them staying with you they can stay in the main house."

"They can stay, I may need help moving some furniture around tho." She reassured him.

"That won't be a problem, Cat already had me and a few of the guys do it, she figured you would say yes." He chuckled. She rolled her eyes.

"So," Karyssa spoke up walking out of the shed once she knew Liam was off the phone. "Shall we go break the news to Zack?" She asked him.

"Lead the way, by the way the conversation about what you bought Zack isn't over." She smiled to herself as they walked back in the house.

"Hey Cat where Zack?" Liam asked.

"In the living room. Him and Kolton are playing a video game." She said as she was cutting vegetables.

"Umm... Cat you feeding an army?" Karyssa questioned.

"You can say that. Pal told everyone to come here for dinner tonight and that we would work out a menu and meal schedule for the next couple days." She stressed.

"Okay, let me go talk to Zack and I'll come help you." Karyssa offered.

"I called Rocky, he's sending help for you Cat." Liam chimed in.

The went into the living room and talked to Zack who seemed excited to be staying here for the next few days at least.
