Leaving the marital home he never bothered to share with his wife, Travis drove straight to the highrise that housed his company. He wanted an honest explanation from his sister and he would demand the truth. Seeing the paparazzi gathered near the front entrance, he immediately pulled into the adjacent parking garage, hoping to avoid the vultures. Driving to the upper level, he parked in the reserved spot and climbed out. "Mr. Harrison!" a man called out to him. Thinking the garage secured and the voice calling to him an employee, Travis turned only to be blinded by the flashes of several camera's. "Mr. Harrison, what is your response to the several allegations that you contributed to multiple divorce cases?" "Why did you ignore your own wife M. Harrison?" "Did you marry Ms.DiVine only for her fortune?" The rapid fire questions and flashing lights of the cameras were not helping his hangover or foul mood at all. He refused to acknowledge the noisy reporters and shouldered his way through to the private elevator. Once inside he exhaled deeply. He had to find a way to get those fools away from his office and out of his business. He could only hope some other scandal would draw them away in the very near future. Reaching his office, he glanced at Nick, his assistant who stood holding several legal envelopes."Put those on my desk, and bring Tina to me ASAP" He growled, before heading into the break room for a cup of coffee. Coffee in hand he headed into his office and sat in the ergonomic leather chair, pulling the envelopes to him. He had no doubt what they contained. Seven in total, five from the Duval Clerk of Courts, and two from Nassau Clerk of Courts. s**t, he sighed. Just what he didn't need. He picked up his office phone and dialed his best friend and lawyer. "I need you in my office after lunch, I have a major mess on my hands." Kelvin laughed, "I warned you, many times I told you your womanizing would be your downfall." "Is that why you refused to handle the divorce?" Travis demanded, " I had to hire an outside lawyer, and look what that got me." Kelvin chuckled again, "No, your inability to keep you d**k in your pants got you that. I tried to tell you Tina and her friend were playing you for a fool." Travis didn't respond, only growled, "Fine, you were right, now are you going to come help me or not." Kelvin agreed to meet after lunch and hung up with a shake of his head. They had all grown up together, Travis, Tina, Cynthia and himself. He had known at an early age how manipulative the girls were. He had watched time and again how they managed Travis, but his friend refused to believe his precious little sister could be so calculating. In his office, Travis waited impatiently for his sister to arrive. He paced between his desk and the lounge area, growing more agitated by the moment. When the knock finally sounded he nearly shouted his response. "Enter!" His sister breezed in as if all was right in her little world and she hadn't a care. "You called for me brother?" She asked with a sigh. Her tone sounding put out, "Will this take long? Cynthia and I are going shopping and then to lunch." She huffed as she sat on the leather sofa in the lounge area. Travis stared at her, completely dumb founded by her complete lack of care for the turmoil she had caused in both his personal and professional life. "Are you serious?" He demanded in astonishment. "That little fiasco you talked me into has already cost me ten million dollars and that's not including the loss of profits or the pending court cases, and you have the sheer nerve to ask if this is going to take too long?!" Tina looked confused, "So what does that have to do with me? You're the one who was whoring around. How is it my fault you got caught?" He stared at her for a long moment, trying to control the rage building inside him. "You sent her pictures of me with your friend, taunted her with text messages about me with other women, and you ask how any of it is your fault?" Her audacity astounded him. "I shouldn't have cheated, but you damn sure shouldn't have sent those messages and pictures." Tina shrugged, "I wanted the little gold digging slut to know her place, so what?" Travis growled, "Did you miss the doctor's testimony Tina? Did you not hear her confirm Tara's virginity" Travis stared hard at his sister, "Did you ignore the lawyer's financial affidavit, the one that shows her net worth at more than five times my own." His demand had Tina shrinking back in her seat. "How was I supposed to know that?" She tried to defend herself, "Besides that doctor could have lied for her, whose to say she is really a virgin?" Dumb founded again by his sisters lack of ownership in her part of the mess that was now his life, Travis shook his head, "Perjury is a crime, not only would she lose her license, she would face jail time and a hefty fine. No doctor would do that willingly." Tina shrugged again, "I still don't understand why you're so angry with me. I didn't do anything but put the little b***h in her place." Travis wanted to slap some sense into his sister. For the first time in his life he felt violent towards the girl he had always protected. No more he decided.. "I want you to tell me exactly where you got the idea that Tara is a slut and gold digger" he demanded. "And I want to know why you went out of your way to ensure my marriage failed before it ever began" Tina looked away, her unwillingness to answer only incited his rage further. "Now Tina I demand those answers NOW!" He roared at her. His fist clenched to his sides to keep him from strangling her.
