Axel lifted me from the floor bridal style and carried me to the bed, where he laid my broken frame and crawled in beside me. Although the bed was small, we still managed to fit perfectly, with me wrapped in his arms like a spider.
His warmth comforted me like a sauna and it eased some of the betrayal just having him there with me. Never did I think I'll be in a position like this yet, here I am, broken and betrayed by the one person, I trusted more than anyone in the world.
