“Nicely done, Axel. You have managed to yet once again make matters worse.” He reprimanded himself for lashing out at Nora.
The man simply wanted to apologize for what transpired between them on Friday night. Except, he only made it worse.
Much worse.
If Friday night showed him anything, was that they still shared a connection. The thought of being with her again settled in his heart as he beamed at the image of her smile.
Axel wanted to salvage it before it caused any more damage. Before he loses her forever.
He needed advice, and he knew the right person to ask for it. With his mind made up, he draped his coat on his shoulder and left the office.
“Come on people, get a move on!” He banged his hands on the steering wheel, shouting at the busy traffic.
