33 Decent Once again, Alex lay on a rooftop overlooking the backyard of the Siren and the dilapidated shack that the men had disappeared into the previous morning. Alex pulled on the power of the veil, just enough to conceal him if anyone looked in his direction. He grimaced as pain exploded in his head but kept the groan from passing his lips.
