The Order Reconsiders
Lord Vannen paced in the study of his old run-down family home near the docks in Vallantia. The area had once known better times but had long fallen into disrepute. He was agitated and the fact that everyone else appeared to be calm infuriated him; then again, they were not the ones who’d had their lives threatened by Lord Kyle.
“What are we going to do now? How did everything go so wrong? I thought the drug stopped them from being able to do their tricks and either killed them or brought them under your control.” He glared around at the men and women in the room.
