***Nensi POV*** The last two days of high school went on like a breeze. I was excited to finish this chapter of my life, yet a little bit anxious about what's next. I had plans about university: I was good at school and I thought economy and management would be interesting and useful to help running a pack. But what if I was going to find a mate? My birthday was fast approaching, I was looking forward to meet my wolf and I was looking forward to find my other half. My parents always told me that finding a mate isn't a matter of hours or days. Some werewolves wait all their lives and die without knowing this blessing but, after all, my parents found themselves before their twenties, why shouldn't I? Better be ready! But now I had to get ready to go to the airport, my cousin Elisa will be landing in a couple of hours and my mother was driving everyone mad with her 'last minute adjustments '. Brian, the head warrior of our pack, had to escort me then drive me and Elisa back. I was hoping to find her nice and friendly or my summer would be ENDLESS! A little makeup on, a fresh t-shirts and my beloved jeans and I was on the car seat. ***Elisa POV*** The flight has been long and quiet but basically boring as hell. Having a first class ticket gives you some advantages but the entertainment on board is the same for everyone and it's lame, literally. I had to refresh myself a little at the airport restroom before exiting the landing area or my hosts would have exchanged me for a sort of savage. A new shirt I had in my handbag, a quick makeup recovery, a drop of my fave perfume from Chanel and my new sunglasses and I was ready to meet my cousin Nensi. Let's hope she is nice and friendly or my summer would be ENDLESS! ***Brian POV*** The ride to the nearest airport was about two hours and half, doing it in a comfortable SUV was a breeze and Nensi was a young funny girl, her bigger flaw was not being a lot into training, which was important for everyone in the pack, even more if you were a ranked member, no matter if male or female. I was happy to hear from the Alpha she signed for the summer basic training course, I was sure she would do good once she got used to the physical effort. Now I can sense she is a little tense about the meeting with her cousin, she spoke all the way to the airport about her summer plans and now I am fully aware she is pretty upset by the guest we are going to meet. ***Nensi POV*** Brian was a good guy, having to do the ride with him has been fun. He was a down to earth, laid on, big boy with his crew cut and his square jaw he seemed a marine soldier ready to be deployed but he was also a playful lad, always on for a quick basketball match and with an insane passion for vanilla ice cream. He was twenty four and not mated yet; it seemed not to bother him too much, he said it's ok so he can focus more on his work as warrior leader. I wandered if it was true or only a pose. Well, we arrived, right in front of the exit of the arrival area of the airport. Let's wait. ***Elisa POV*** Once the sliding doors opened I suddenly felt a hot wave fighting with the freezing A/C inside the hub. This temperature change has been a little shock and now I am worried to sweat the hell out of me and meeting my cousin and her chaffeur soaked in sweat. I looked left and right to check if they were already here and I saw a tall, handsome, elegant man with a white board. On the board there was written ELISA SOLMI in black, bold letters. Ok, I was going to meet the most good looking male I have ever seen and I already felt sweat's halos under my armpits. DAMN! Behind that amazing vision I realized there was a girl around my age with plain jeans and t-shirt on and a nervous smile on her face. She seemed nice, she'd got very beautiful hair and she was fiddling with the shoulder belt of her bag. I started walking towards them with no rush, trying to seem totally in control and a real lady. The Matriarch recommended me thousand times to use my best manners and to act like a SIGNORA, that means lady. "Good afternoon sir, if you are looking for Elisa Solmi this is me" I said with my best smile and trying not to fall off my heels as I felt my knees flabby like a budino, or a pudding to say it in English. ***Brian POV*** For heaven's sake my Alpha sent me here to convoy an angel. I almost let the board I had in my hand off the ground when she spoke to me. "Good afternoon Miss Solmi, I am Brian Harris, head warrior of the Bright Moon Pack and your chaffeur from the airport to the pack territory today". Damn my voices seemed the noise from one fof those dog's squeeze toys but her smile made me feel good anyway. I inhaled the air just to catch her smell with what I hoped was nonchalance. I smelled a lovely scent of vanilla but not so strong to alert all my senses and to say she could be my mate, even if I could hear my wolf Spock sending appreciations to the girl and stretching and purring in my head. "It's pretty hot here, if you are ready I can board your bag and we can move, I suppose you are tired for the long journey milady". She smiled again behind her big and dark sunglasses, handing me her trolley. "Thank you so much, you're very kind, please call me Elisa, don't be so formal with me". I boarded her bag, opened her the car door and then seated behind the car's steering wheel. ***Nensi POV*** So here she was. Basically my cousin was a top model, the kind you see in fashion shows and on Vogue's covers. Long, straight hair, the color of honey; long legs wrapped in elegant, black cigarette pants, black, shiny décolleté with stiletto heels, a silk, powder pink shirt and big, black, diva sunglasses. Even the luggage was matching her outfit, a shiny black rigid Samsonite trolley. At least she was smiling like hell, she seemed really happy to be here, and friendly! I walked a couple of steps towards her but then she stopped in front of Brian. She started speaking to him and he was all poofed up like a peacock. I could swear he answered her with a voice two tones higher than his standard. Not a single sign she have acknowledged my presence here: I could have rather been the trash bin next to the parking spot for how much she cared to introduce herself to me. She entered the car the moment Brian opened her the car door. Thirty seconds of her and the pain (in the a**) was already real. I decided to play the polite girl, at least I had to avoid any complaint by my parents. I seated next to her in the back sit and said: "Hello Elisa, I'm Nensi, your second cousin. My mum told me a lot about you and your mum Beatrice; I am really, really glad to have you here for the summer!" I smiled briefly, meanwhile Brian was seated stiffly into the driver seat. For heaven's sake it seemed he swallowed a broom'stick! She seemed to realized only at that point I was there with them. "Hello Nensi, I am really happy to meet you, your parents have been so kind inviting me here, I am sure your pack is as lovely as my mother always told me". She gave me her hand and I was surprised: her handshake was pretty strong and far from her delicate appearance. Brian started the car's engine and we moved to return home in a cringy silence.
