Emma's POV
I walked to the training grounds, my eyes darted around the place. My heart was racing with anticipation. I had finally made up my mind to join the Pack guard, and now it was time to inform the captain of my decision.
Taking a deep breath, the place was bustling with activity, guards training and preparing for their duties. My eyes scanned the room, searching for the captain.
That was when I saw him — a tall, imposing figure with piercing yellow eyes and a strong jawline. He was speaking with a group of guards, but his gaze snapped to mine as I approached.
"Emma, good day. I wasn't expecting you here so what brought you here?" he asked, his deep voice commanding attention.
