Bennett's POV "Good, keep your posture straight and don't tense up quickly while fighting," I instructed her. We were training together at the secluded place again, our movements fluid and synchronized. I was impressed by her skill and focus, but as we spared, her sleeve rode up, revealing a jagged scar on her forearm. My eyes widened in surprise, and I instinctively hesitated, my gaze fixed on the scar. Emma, sensing my distraction, took advantage and landed a swift kick, sending me stumbling backward. "That was strong," I complimented but noticed something. As we broke apart, Emma quickly covered her scar, her eyes flashing with a mix of embarrassment and wariness. I was still processing what I had seen, and approached her with a newfound sense of respect and curiosity.
