Through the woods Kiara was dragged, her bare feet sore against the earth’s surface. The night gown he held onto as he pulled was torn right open, revealing everything her mother had taught her to hide.
Tears...so much of them ran down her cheeks and blood tainted her chest. She was scared, especially since she didn’t know where he was taking her. It wasn’t anywhere nice, it didn’t take a fool to know that, the anger in his eyes was so obvious, even in the darkness that reigned around them.
And because of that, Kiara’s legs wouldn’t stop quivering, her lips too. She shouldn’t have provoked him, she shouldn’t have stepped foot pass the boundary he set. She should’ve listen to him and not her heart, she should’ve...she should’ve just stayed.
