Reina’s POV
“I’ll stay with you.” Sister Caroline offered but Brianne rolled her eyes, smirking. Such a wrong attitude. I didn’t speak though. I kept silent.
“Why are you doing that?” Caroline asked. Exactly the same thing I would have done.
“Why would you offer to do that when you know the repercussions?”
“It’s totally out of place to let a new sister joining us feel this way, our royal princess for that matter. The Holy Book says give honor to whom honor is due. If our Mother asked me, I would say the same thing.”
She grabbed Caroline, taking her away from me. I'd thought to take her back to the hostel, leaving me to sort out my way myself but they stood over a distance away and she was whispering to Caroline.
