Julian’s POV
We all stood in shock, gazing at each other. “What do you mean she’s in heat?” I asked Calder. He pounced on me right away.
“Don’t you understand English?” He growled, grabbing my collar with firm hands, his eyes glowing with anger.
“Didn’t you go to school? Don’t you get it when a woman is in heat?”
I knew all these but my mind couldn’t bring me to understand what was going on. Did she just find this moment to be the right moment to be in heat?
“Are you sure you didn’t induce that state because you want to keep creating confusion among us?” His gaze burned a hole in my face. I punched him in the chest, grabbing his collar as well.
“What do you mean?”
My eyes were beginning to darken and I sensed my wolf howling, shifting inside of me.
