Reina’s POV I slid to the floor. The hallway grew blurry through my tears. I couldn’t breathe. My chest felt like it was being ripped apart from the inside. I wrapped my arms around my legs and pressed my face into my knees, sobbing so hard I shook. My wolf whimpered deep inside me, curling up tighter, hiding from the pain. She was fading. She wanted her mate. And he wanted nothing to do with her. I don’t know how long I stayed like that. Maybe an hour. Maybe two. Time didn’t matter anymore.
