Reina’s POV I waited here patiently for my mate, he told me he wanted to stroll in the garden and would be returning soon but this was an hour past and he hadn't returned. When the nurse came in to check on me, I asked to help check the garden for me but she returned with a solemn face. “There's no one in the garden, your highness.” My heart fell. Could Julian be lying to me? Where could he be lying to go to? Thoughts began swiping in but one stood firm. He must have returned to the palace. “Your highness, you need to call him now?” The nurse asked after several seconds of observing me. “I don't think there's a need,” my voice turned dark. I dropped back to the bed, staring into the ceiling and slowly closing my eyes. Part of me was disgusted. Another part sang in despair.
