As time went on going to six in the evening, Ethan was becoming more restless not because of the threat that the boys had said, but because of the fact that he was seeing them as monsters.
Ethan brought a plate of sweet fried cooking bananas to the tree house. While chewing like a goat and stuck a slice of banana in his lips, he constantly wiped his bow with a spare cloth.
"What to do? Do I need to call brothers and discuss this with them?" Ethan tilted his head and thought. Soon after, he shook his head. "No way. No way. I can't disturb them. They are already working hard today, I can't bother them anymore. Besides, anytime soon they will come home. It is better to solve it alone. Hmmm., right. It's decided then."
It didn't take long, Ethan's eyes noticed something from not afar. It was in the abandoned hut, the second house from Uncle Simon's house. Penthelope with another one girl named Alicia entered with the three men in the said abandoned hut. Ethan sensed that the five were planning to do something inappropriate.
He braced the bow next to him with his neck stretching high to peek more clear at the group who just entered the hut. The hut was almost about to fall and had a lot of holes, so his sight could see through them although not entirely seeing everything they were doing inside.
He stroked his imaginary beards and mumbled, "What are these five trying to do? Sneaking around and acting suspicious. They must be up to no good."
Ethan constantly fed his mouth while silently watching them from the tree house and he was shocked as for what the five next began doing.
Yael held Penthelope's head and kissed her aggressively yet pleasurable. They kissed like snails in a love-making process and were unable to separate. They really both stuck to each other's mouth.
Ethan's sight transferred to the other corner and his eyes popped even wider as he saw Alicia having two men alternately kissing and touching her everywhere.
Until the three began to unbutton the girl's upper garments and finally stripped their underwear.
"This is too outrageous." Ethan growled as he turned his back to them. "Pooh! Thinking of it really makes me mad. How could this girls have s*x with those freak boys at that place? Aren't they afraid of being caught by any of the villagers? Well, probably. Why need to hide if they could do it even with someone else around. Ridiculous." Ethan took another slice of sweet fried cooking banana and threw it away.
He wrinkled his face, folded his right knee inward and laid his right elbow on the folded knee and questioned himself. "This is not right. Why am I mad? If they want to ruin their future, then let them be. Their parents can't even discipline them, how can I? Anyway, their business is not my business."
Ethan picked another slice of banana, tossed in his mouth and laid down on his back pillowing his arms but after a minute he flipped up forward again. "However, why did I keep having this unsettled feeling?"
He sighed, shaking his head. He looked at the roof and roamed his eyes there. It was his first day climbing in the tree house and had not had enough time to have a close look. Now seemed like a good time.
In the beam on top of the last post where his eyes stopped, he found something that made him frown.
"A chain lash?" He exclaimed. He quickly picked himself up and reached the lash carefully coiled at the corner. "Wow, what an exquisite lash. Who owns this lash? Such a good fighting weapon, how could he leave it here?"
Ethan checked the lash carefully and traced his hand on it with amusement because it didn't look ordinary. It was a kind of chain lash that was made with a mixture of blades. It was all glossy and sharp. Probably, the lash could actually be called a Chain Lash Sword Blade.
"Seems like my day today is not really that unlucky because I found this precious weapon." Ethan kissed the handle of the lash and giggled. After, he remembered the serious matter again. "Maybe, they were done with their work out already. Hmmmm, let's take a quick one peek at them again. Just one more peek. If they are still riding, I better get down and cook for my brothers."
Ethan felt a bit embarrassed of what he was doing. While closing his one eye, he slowly turned around. He thought everything was already fine but who would expect that as his one opened eye ran into the group of five's directions, a horrible scenario unfolded before him.
Ethan couldn't help but puke as he saw the two boys feasted Alicia's bloody entrails.
"God, what is this?" Ethan's eyes widened and his stomach kept growling around inside.
Penthelope was still having sensual pleasure and she hasn't noticed yet that Alicia was already being eaten.
Ethan tears formed into his eyes and then dropped. So all what he saw was real. He could see a monster and Alicia died because he didn't take an action.
In his fury, Ethan grabbed three arrows and aimed in the direction of the three. Tears constantly dripped from his eyes because of regret but he didn't blink even once. His face showed too much anger and murderous intent. His jaws were clenching tight inside.
He didn't take action yet. He waited for Yael to move a bit to devour Penthelope before he could release the arrows.
And what he was waiting for happened so soon. As Penthelope turned her head towards Alicia's direction while Yael licked her neck, Penthelope saw Alicia bathed with blood with her stomach and chest opened wide. Her internal organs were in the hands of the two boys greedily eating while squatting on the ground. Little of her blood was dripping down at her dead body while the rest of the blood flooded below her.
Penthelope struggled and was kicking beneath Yael's body that was pinning her on the ground and she would have shouted if only Yael didn't cover her mouth.
Yael grinned widely. Slowly stretching out his fangs, his claws and lastly his clothes torn into small pieces and finally shifted into a total monster like his first two companions. Their look was exactly what Ethan had described before and they were bigger than an Elephant. Their entire body was dark brown in color and cracking.
Ethan did not miss the opportunity and immediately fired the three arrows attached in between his fingers. The arrows created a speedy wheezing sound and straightly fierce towards the three, not missing any of them.
Yael hit at his right back, Tropher was on his left head penetrated until his eye while the other one hit on his forehead. The internal force that Ethan had used only alarmed the three. They were injured and the arrows still pricked to their bodies but it wasn't enough to kill them. It could only compare to a bite of an ant for them.
This was the only time Penthelope managed to let out a loud scream which startled and shaken the entire village. To check what had just happened, the villager's men stopped their respective activities and went to the place where the voice came while carrying a torch to their hands.
Everybody looked up above the house when they heard rustling and stamping feet trailing on the roof and they were astonished to discover who it was.
-"Hey everyone, is it that Ethan? Look, he is flying!"
-"How could he fly like a bird?"
-"That is indeed Ethan!"
Ethan saw Yael raise his hand to dig Penthelope's heart, so he jumped in no time from the tree house and levitated in the air, only his toes were touching the roof. Unexpectedly it still created a noise which caught the villagers' attention.
Ethan looked like running in a gas space with one hand holding the lash and the other hand carrying an iron bow.
The villagers, instead of checking about the scream, their mind shifted into admiring Ethan's heroic scene.
Yael was already about to pierce his long black hard claws to Penthelope when Ethan swung his Chain Whip Sword Blade with all his might on the roof where Yael was under it.
The roof of the poor hut was crushed into two halves while the tip of the whip coiled around Yael's neck and strangled him. The more he struggled to escape from the whip, the more the blade at the tip of the whip stuck deep into his flesh.
Ethan swung his whip again and hauled Yael to the yard. Everybody was terrified as they retreated in a corner to witness a monster in front of them.
-"Monster! Monster! Monster!" Everybody screamed. The village was now filled with a scream of fear.
-"Get a weapon.!" One from the villagers outcried and quickly half of them returned home to get any blade while the other remained standing stupefied.
Ethan jumped down from above and ran fast towards Yael to stab him with his bow while still strangling him with the whip. Midway, Yael companions hopped on him. The ground was shaken as Ethan and Tropher were grappling on the ground.
Tropher pinned Ethan and he was trying to prick his claws to Ethan's chest but Ethan blocked his claws using the bow. The bow slowly bent and Tropher's claws got closer to Ethan's body.
Ethan's foot accidentally touched a big stone on the ground and so, he tucked the big stone in between his feet and lifted it. After enough preparation, he walloped the stone at the monster's head using a great internal force. Tropher was shaken down and fell aside.
Ethan took advantage of the chance. He quickly and hastily jumped on Tropher's hunchback, pulled the arrow being stuck on his eyes and stabbed the iron arrow again to his nape. The arrow pierced through his throat.
Tropher fell down, squirmed on the ground and died.
Although scared, everyone cheered for Ethan.
Ethan almost forgot Yael and he was about to escape from the whip. So Ethan spun his foot and clutched tightly the handle of the whip. Yael was once again strangled by the whip.
Ethan slowly approached him. Midway, the villagers shouted together. "Bro Ethan, watch out! There is one more at your back."
Ethan quickly turned around but he was already late. The monster's bleeding nails were already almost reaching his neck to break him but in the next milliseconds, a wheezing sound of wind fast passed by in front of him that blew him backward. But, the said wind trailed away the monster.
Just a few meters away from Ethan, two backs of familiar well built bodies are exposed to them. One of them was holding the monster's bleeding head. The head was already separated from the monster's body.
Of course, Ethan recognised who the two comers were. It was Logan and Brayden on their disguise appearance.
"Brother Logan, Brother Brayden, you finally came." Ethan yelled happily. He tried to approach but the villagers shouted again.
-"Bro Ethan, watch out!"
Ethan didn't bother to look back. He pulled the arrow from Tropher's corpse and swayed it towards the back.
Yael squealed and fell on the ground with a loud thud. As he checked on it, the arrow was actually pricked on his throat. Ethan was wondering. "Why were these monsters weird. One of them was hit by my arrow to their forehead and the other one to the eyes but they didn't die. Why did they die automatically as they hit on their throat?"
"Because the throat is the monster's weak area. Once the throat is cut, there's no way for them to survive." Logan's voice echoed.
"Oh So that is what it is. Brother Logan, how did you---" Ethan halted to see the state of the two. Their body and mouth were covered with blood. "What--what happened to the two of you?"
Logan and Brayden spit blood on the ground.
Brayden tossed the head away, "There's no blade to use, so in critical times like earlier, we could only use our teeth to kill him."
"You two bite him?" Ethan asked shockingly.
"Yes!" The two brothers admitted in unison and in serious face.
Ethan chortled intensely. After calming down a bit, he said, "Next time, if I meet a monster again I will also use my teeth to kill him.
"You can't!" The two yelled in anger simultaneously again as they also held Ethan at both shoulders together.
"Why can't I?" Ethan asked confusedly.
"Don't ask why. Just follow what we said. You can't mean you can't. Understood?" Logan stared at him sternly.
"Alright. Alright! I won't." Ethan said.
-"Where are the monsters? Where are the monsters?" Repeatedly said by the villagers.
-"You are late. They all died already." One from the onlookers replied.
