Chapter Twenty-four
It wasn’t long before they were pulling into the driveway at Lucy and Paul’s. Parking beside Lucy’s car, Megan opened the door and Barney jumped out and ran to the front door to wait for them. Before Aiden and Megan got all the way to the front door, Lucy had it open and was giving the puppy the attention he craved. Welcoming Aiden to her home, she motioned for the two of them to go on in. Megan led the way to the living room where Paul was reading the morning paper from Palm Beach.
