The weather seemed nice as Anabel strolled to work, with an earpiece plugged.
She listened to Katy Perry- Roar as she crossed the road when a car almost hit her,
"What the hell is wrong with you? Get out of the way" yelled the angry driver.
"But it was a red light, you piece of s**t" she argued.
The Driver changed his course and drove off.
At the same time, Dylan had just arrived when he spotted Anabel crossing the road, His heart almost broke when he saw a car almost hit her, he had already rushed to her.
"are you okay? he asked checking her.
"Yes, I'm fine" she replied.
"you should be more careful" he said worriedly.
"I know" She replied as they entered the office.
"Are you sure you are okay" he asked one more time before she could enter her office.
"I'm fine" she smiled.
Dylan had almost watched the death of the person he loved and it terrified him.
The thought of taking someone dear to him was painful especially the death of his father.
A call came in,
"Boss" James waited for a signal to continue.
"Speak James" Dylan replied.
"we have found them" James added.
"Keep me posted" He disconnected the call as John walked in.
John, " Good morning Sir.
Dylan slightly nodded as he looked at him.
John,"Sir, we need an advertising agency for this new project, I have a few here on this list, he handed a file to Dylan.
Dylan looked at it "Number 7", he returned the file to John.
John got up to leave and then turned " Oh, I almost forgot, Mr Luca is here".
Dylan's eyes darkened, the only reason he is here is because of Anabel, he thought.
Luca walked into the Vin Companies and inquired for Anabel's office from the receptionist.
He held a bouquet of roses in his hand as he knocked the door.
"Come in" a soft voice echoed.
Luca,"Good morning anabel"
Anabel, "Good morning Mr Luca, to what do I owe this visit.
Luca," nothing really"
She gestured for him to sit, having sat down, he gave her the flowers.
"Thank you" she said as she received them and placed it in a vase.
Luca, "Would you like to have dinner with me?
Anabel, "I'm sorry Mr Luca but I am very busy.
Luca, "Maybe next time?.
Anabel, "I don't think so".
Luca, "Are you avoiding me?
Anabel, "Why would I do that? I don't even know you yet.
Luca, "exactly why I am here, to take you on a dinner date to get to know me.
Anabel, "Is that really necessary?
Luca expression changed as he became sad, never has any girl turned him down or much less question him.
Luca, "What do you mean?
Anabel, "since you are here, why don't you tell me about yourself. There is no need for a dinner date".
Luca was dumbfounded at this girl's aura.
Luca, "Well I am the heir to...
Anabel, " I'm sorry, I just remembered I have something to do, why don't you come by during the weekends.
Anabel was completely mocking Luca as his anger rose.
"Who do you think you are? Luca yelled.
"Shhhhh Mr Luca, this is my office. I would advice you to leave. Anabel said as she smiled at him.
"You heard the lady, Leave and don't ever return" Dylan said as he walked in, hiding his fist in his pocket.
Luca stormed out angrily.
Dylan surveyed Anabel's office and noticed the flowers, "Throw that out" he ordered.
"I know" Anabel replied as she threw the flowers into the trashcan.
Filling completely satisfied, Dylan left, he hadn't had a minute rest since he heard that Luca was around, pacing back and forth in his office, he decided to go Anabel's office and throw him out when he heard Luca yell.
Dylan thought of many ways to punish Luca as he sat in his office, watching Anabel send him out had calmed his heart from it's increased beating.
Anabel finished work for the day as she got out of her office, standing at the entrance, Dylan's car parked in front of her as his driver came out and opened the door for her.
"Mr Dylan, what are you trying to do" she thought to herself as she entered the car. The entire drive, Dylan sat quietly as Anabel looked through the window enjoying the view.
Arriving at Anabel's home, "If you wish to leave this house, we have an employee suite that you can stay in" he spoke.
"Thank you Mr Dylan, instead of leaving here, I would rather refurbish it. But I will think kindly of your offer" she got off the car and smiled as they drove off.
At the Vin's mansion, a man was yelling as he was being electrocuted. Dylan walked in,
"Welcome boss" James greeted, Dylan nodded his head as he leaned on a desk.
"What did I do to you? why are you torturing me? he shouted.
"Because you almost hit a lady today" James replied.
Hearing that, the man's mind jogged to an incident earlier in the morning when he had almost hit a lady.
"Do you know her? he asked.
"Drag out his fingers" Dylan said.
A machine was brought as a young man picked the man's thumb to begin with.
"Raphael, start with the smallest one " Dylan said.
"okay boss" Raphael replied as he placed the man's smallest finger, the machine pulled it and a loud scream echoed, the man fainted due to the pain.
"Wake him up" Dylan said.
"A bucket of water was poured on the man as he woke up to one of the most excruciating pain.
"Pease, I'm sorry. Let me go" he begged.
Dylan scuffed "again".
His thumb nails were pulled out as he screamed on top of his lungs.
"Somebody help" he shouted.
"Pull all" Dylan ordered and walked out. The screams of the man could still be heard as Dylan stood in the garden and smoked.
After watching the driver who had almost killed Anabel drove off, he crammed his plate number and contacted James.
