I wake up to find the sun already shining brightly. I’m surprised I managed to fall asleep. After just touching her, I felt so excited. I must have scared her with what I said and did. I’ll try to act normal today. She’s not next to me, so I’ll go and find her downstairs.
A delicious smell of cooking hits my nostrils as I go down the stairs. I find her in the kitchen, chopping vegetables whilst the pans sizzle on the hob. She’s so focused on what she’s doing that she doesn’t even notice me.
