HER NAME WAS ISABELLE. I came across a post she entered through the “share your experience” section in a blog about the Santa Muerte. I had been frequenting various blogs and message boards looking for stories that drew parallels to the documents I now had in tow. I still had no definitive conclusion as to what I was discovering with my efforts thus far. In fact, I barely had any idea what I was doing at all. Then I read Isabelle’s entry.
