JANINE CASTILLO BEGAN her career as an on-call psychiatrist for different law organizations throughout the Southwest United States. Her routine appointments were made up largely of recently apprehended suspects to determine their mental state when demonstrating abnormal or erratic behavior. She spent most of her tenure in El Paso then at some point in the late eighties relocated into Austin TX where she maintained a “normal” practice until her retirement just a few years ago. She’s remained close to Margaret Harrison (Daniel’s wife) since and the two are good friends.
We had a lengthy conversation by telephone to which I explained myself and the purpose of the phone call. She was very nice and receptive asking direct questions I expect in the same way she would as if in a therapy session.
