Chapter 21
I WAS IN DARKNESS.
An agonizing feeling of cold brought me back. My body was stiff and sore as if it was put through torturous physical abuses. I had no feeling in my right hand. It had gone completely numb from my forearm down to the tips of my fingers. Uncontrollable trembles took over from a coldness I have not known since. And then in the dark, a voice spoke out, quietly and calm. It was a woman.
She was kneeled next to me, applying something to my right wrist. I asked what she was doing, now speaking in my normal English.
“Healing you” she said, quietly.
