About the Book
THE ORIGINS OF THIS book began on a business trip to El Paso, Texas back in 2013. I was staying at a hotel that overlooked I10 where Juarez, Mexico lay just beyond. I had a perfect view of its uneven housing grids and odd street lights. It wasn’t but a few minutes into my observation that I saw something embedded within the mess of houses and wires, a series of quick flashes accompanied by tiny particles. Then I saw another, then another in different parts of the neighborhood. A few Google searches later I found similar videos of what I witnessed...gunfire.
Intrigued, I began my web searches with my hotel blinds wide open looking out onto this ominous neighbor filling up the window. I spent the remainder of the night digging deep into the madness of Ciudad Juárez. I went d
