CHAPTER 84 The door to the attic opened near 6 p.m. Mme. Abadie led a middle-aged man with thick glasses upstairs to meet Lucien and Camille. “This is Pierre,” she said as they entered. “Thanks for helping us, Pierre,” Camille said. “Anything to defeat the Nazis,” Pierre replied, nodding to her and Lucien. “What do you need us to do?” Lucien asked.
