CHAPTER 71 Ziegler and Bayer spent the day randomly questioning Tournai residents. They met with limited success, a few vague recollections of a truck with a blonde woman driving, but nothing substantial. Colonel von Horn also lent them a half dozen soldiers to assist. They canvassed different parts of the city, asking shopkeepers and pedestrians if they had any useful information. Late that afternoon, Ziegler and Bayer returned to Gestapo headquarters.
