So Mote it be

(Gabriella POV) Later That Night We all had gathered beneath the full moon to complete the sire tether. The entire coven had come out, along with Alexandria and her vampire clan. Rebecca looked beautiful in her flowing white gown and watching her and Peter I could tell how madly in love with each other they were. Alexandria would change Peter tonight so that he could join Rebecca in her clan. The Count's tether wouldn't be severed until he was killed because if we cut it now he would know. A Count felt every time they lost a sire. Like the snapping of a rubber band from their soul. Rebecca walked over to me sadness filling her eyes. I smiled at her because I knew why that sadness was there. All the evil she had been forced to do by the Count had left a permanent scar on her heart. As she approached I watched as she glided as if she were floating on a cloud. Vampires were remarkable creatures created by our Goddess Selene along with werewolves. Werewolves were her children cursed by her father. Vampires were created when she changed her love to save him from death only she had unknowingly cursed him in the process. The need to feed on blood, the aversion to sunlight, and living an eternity to witness the death of all those you love. A curse and a blessing. As was everything when it came to our Goddess. Flawless skin, soft to the touch, but bulletproof. Mesmerizing eyes that sparkled like the stars but held a dangerous power. One to make you do anything the beholder wish. Compulsion was a dangerous power and one Rebecca was very familiar with. Her skin seemed to have a permanent highlight, and perfect makeup. Transforming from human to vampire was like smoothing out all your imperfections and bringing them as close to perfect as they could get. "Gabriella I have wanted to talk to you for so long. To apologize for my part in your kidnapping. I would say I was compelled but that would be an excuse, and I'm not here to make excuses. I'm here to accept responsibility and ask for forgiveness. I did terrible things I can never take back. I'm so so very sorry. I understand if you can't forgive me right now but maybe, well hopefully, one day you will.” She stammered tears stained her cheeks. "I forgive you, Rebecca.” I smiled at her and her eyes grew wide. "Really?” she asked. "Yes. I have thought about a lot of things lately and holding grudges, or hate in our hearts isn't good for any of us. We have to forgive to be able to move forward. And although you did terrible things, the fear of death of leaving the ones we love can be too much to bear and make us do crazy things. Although I don't agree with a lot of o things you did I do understand it. Probably more than you could ever understand. Your past isn't what defines you, Rebecca. It's what you do with your future, so do something amazing.” I explained to her. She nodded her head, yes tears flowed freely from the both of us, "Can I hug you?” she cried. I laughed, "of course, you can.” and we embrace each other tightly. Peter came up to stab beside Rebecca as strong arms wrapped around my waist. "What's going on over here?”Grayson whispered in my ear. "Girls being girls,” I replied laughing as Rebecca joined me. Rebecca and Peter looked great together and I was excited to see his vampire form. They were like total opposites of each other. His blonde hair with mocha lowlights complimented her mocha hair with blonde highlights. His blue eyes complimented her green. He was tall enough that his chin fit directly on top of her head and they were both slightly athletically built. "It's time everyone. Gather around the altar. Link hands and come together as one. Rebecca, come lay upon the altar. Alexandria you will lay directly beside her.” Eliza announced. We all followed her directions and joined hands around the circle. Vampire, witches, and werewolves without one ounce of bad blood between us. Rebecca lay upon the altar her white dress making her look like a goddess Alexandria joined her and looked equally as beautiful "Take each other's hand and turn to face each other place your right ha on the other heart while holding hands with the other look into each other eyes and concentrate.” Eliza instructed them. "Repeat after me everyone, Oh Great Goddess Mother of Mercy and Healing Send the energy of Hygeia to nourish from Her Sacred Bowl Send the energy of Brigid to heal with the waters of Her Sacred Well Send the energy of Demeter to restore life to withering cells Send the energy of Quan Yin to bless the healing with peace Send Your healing wisdom to the body to restore its sacred balance Thank You, Great Goddess Mother of All Life.” she chanted as she held boline in the air. We all repeated the prayer, "Oh Great Goddess Mother of Mercy and Healing Send the energy of Hygeia to nourish from Her Sacred Bowl Send the energy of Brigid to heal with the waters of Her Sacred Well Send the energy of Demeter to restore life to withering cells Send the energy of Quan Yin to bless the healing with peace Send Your healing wisdom to the body to restore its sacred balance Thank You, Great Goddess Mother of All Life.” everyone said in unison. "Set your intention in your mind Alexandria and Rebecca. Imagine that tether between your souls forming.” Eliza instructed. 3 witches walked forward holding something in their hands. The first lay crystals at the base of the altar and sat on her knees her head down. The other did the same but lay a white dove who was alive but refuses to fly away, sitting at the base of the altar. The last witch sat a long round candle down and lit the wick and like the other two, she fell into a bowing position. "We give to you these offerings Goddess, as you bless this ritual with your wondrous power,” Eliza yelled to the moon. Eliza took the boline and grasp Alexandria’s hand piercing her skin as crimson flowers from the wound. She did the same as Rebecca and everyone gasped as their wounds did not heal like they normally would. She places their hands together and they linked their fingers as their other hand still lay on the heart of the other. "Goddess hear me now. Link these two souls together in life and death. Allow Alexandria’s life force to will that of Rebecca’s. Strengthen their connection and weaken the other for it will be severed. We ask this of you and give ourselves into you for now and forever my goddess.” Eliza chanted. Lightning began striking in the sky and the wind picked up with a such force that we all grasped hands to keep our balance. "Do not break the circle. Focus on your intention.” Eliza instructed us, her voice rising above the sound of the wind. " I believe in the Fire I believe in the rain I believe in the earth I believe in the oak the sycamore the cypress the redwood the holly the willow and the birch I believe in Odin All-father, traveler of nine worlds May he slaughter the serpent and ward off evil I believe in Freyr god of peace and prosperity May he bring peace and prosperity to me and those around me I believe in Thor god of the sky, god of thunder, god of lightning may he give me strength and endurance in my upcoming work I thank the gods for what they have given me I thank the gods for what they have taken from me I thank the gods for what they will give me and I thank the gods for what they will from me I thank the gods for the breath that I breathe and I thank the gods for the earth that I walk I thank the gods for the body in which I, my spirit, resides I thank the gods for all that has been done and will be done. 'So mote it be.” As Eliza finished the last word a lightning bolt struck the altar and both women levitated in the air. Their bodies were surrounded by a faint light. It went until Eliza picked up the candle that was still lit despite the wind and she blew it out. The women were lowered to the altar and everything stopped. There was silence. Rebecca and Alexandria stood in front of the Altar still clasping hands. "Cedar Brook Vampire clan. Welcome your Sister Rebecca.” Alexandria's voice rang out. The circle dispersed and the clan went to embrace their new family member. I watches as joy and tears ran down Rebecca's face, she was free from the count and the evil that he had caused her. Peters turns to join his fiancé in eternity.
