A Glimpse into the future

(Gabriella’s POV)

“Hello my daughter. " she smiled at me. I looked around at my surroundings. We were in a field of wild flowers on the edge of a cliff.” Hello Goddess.” I bowed my head in respect.” You will be going to war soon.” She smiled.” Yes. We attack at sunrise!” I told her my smile faltering. “ You and your daughter are my greatest creations Gabriella.” She touched my cheek gently.” What you are doing is a part of unconditional love. A love no one can understand until they carry a child inside of them and give birth to that child. To have them feed from your body. They are all the parts of you that you love. All the best parts.” she waved her arm and the air shimmered over the cliff.

"I would like to show you how your species began, my story with my fated Edomonius." She smiled and waved her arm making the air around us shimmer.

"I am the daughter of Hyperion or The High-One, and Thea the goddess of the wind."

"I have two siblings: Eos, the goddess of the dawn, and Helios, the sun god. My grandparents are Gaia, Mother Earth and Uranus Father Sky.

I watched each of her family appear before me in the mist as if it was a portal to another world.

I used to dress in the finest silk robes and traveled in my silver moon chariot drawn by luminous steeds across the heavens.

"I to have had my share of heartache. When I was younger I fell for a beautiful man name Ardimus. He courted me and loved me. Even taught me to shoot the silver bow he gifted to me. But my brother who hated him , God of the sun, turned him to a bright light and convinced me to shoot him. Once I realized it was him I wept day and night and vowed to trust nor love anyone again. That was until I met the Shepard Edomonius who gave me a whole new outlook on life."

I watched as she wiped tears from her eyes that fell down her cheeks and she smiled through them. She was truly the epitome of beauty and strength and I felt worthy to be a child of hers, especially after hearing her story. I don't know what I would do if I was ever the cause of Greysons death. I don't know that I could live with myself.

"This was when one night I met him, my beloved mortal Endymion, a handsome shepherd, hunter. I found him while riding my carriage over on Mount Latmus in Caria, on the west coast of Asia Minor."

"He was sleeping peacefully and I was fascinated by his beauty. I asked Zeus, the leader of the Greek gods, to give Endymion eternal life and make him immortal like myself. But Zeus became angry because because he loved me very much and, on some occasions, was my lover. Instead Endymion remained young and asleep for all time. Eveeynight I would visit my beloved every night when he was sleeping."

I watched on as I watched Selene through the portal lay with the man weeping in his arms and begging him to awaken just once.

"Until one night when helios the God of sleep felt pity on me and awoke my love. The only problem was he would only wake during the night. Though, we still had a beautiful romance and bore many any children."

I watched as she held her child in her arms while Edomonius slept behind her.

"Then Zues found out and flipped out in a jealous rage cursing all of our children. There he made them the supernaturals you know of today. A vampire driven by the hu ger for blood and an aversion to the sun, and a werewolf led by the moon and turned to a beast.."

"I could not allow my children to suffer so when Edomonius was On his deathbed, I allowed him, to drink my blood. Their combined blood could create help our "children" after his death, essentially turning all of our children into supernatural beings. Immortal and strong.

Edomonius died and I made him an immortal god. In this form, we can finally touch live as husband and wife and watch over our chikdren for all eternity.

I ģave them strength and powers like those of the immortals. I also gave them a destined mate. The other half of their soul like that of mine and edomonius. I gave them a leader, and a pack though some have changed the names over times. They have a close family that would die for them should the time call for it. I still visit your father nightly as we look upon you. We are so proud of each and everyone of you. It's still hard to believe that all of you began with our first fifty daughters." she smiled and waved her arm making the vision dissappear.

"I want you to know that not even Goddesses have an easy life my child. We must make decisions and some have consequences. Such as my affair with Zues who is a jealous envious man. Still we do the best we can because other than the powers we are still human afterall. Just as you are."

"All I ask is that you do your very best. Make the decisions you believe are right, and this could be your future."

She waved her arm once more. Greyson and I sat in the yard and a girl ran chasing a little boy. We laughed as we watched them play with eachother. We seemed happy and the world finally seemed simple, for once.

"Your children will be as powerful as their mother. They will do big things in this world Gabriella. Remember that this is only the storm before the rainbow. No you must go. Make me proud as you have done so many times before."
