IRIS POV
“Edward! Go on with the training! Diane take Beth to Alice!” Lucas shouts at them and they quickly dart away. I can’t move or think as Eric’s words start to sink in. I always thought I was, but hearing someone else say it hit me like a bus.
Tears are building in the back of my throat, “What.. what are you talking about?” I mumble quietly and stare at Eric.
“We can’t talk here,” Eric says, his eyes darting to the rest of the pack. He turns on his heels and starts to walk towards the house. I feel Lucas’s hand brush against mine before he walks off following Eric. It takes everything in me to follow them. I didn’t know if I was ready to know the truth. It terrified me.
