Iris POV
We just sat there not saying anything for so long. I stopped crying a couple of minutes ago, but my chest ached.
“You ok Evie?” Eric whispers and kisses the top of my head. I press my face into his chest taking in his familiar scent.
“It’s just hard…” I whisper and he starts to stand up still holding me in his arms. I just stay quiet as he walks back into the house. Edward, Diane, and Kylie weren’t in the kitchen anymore and I was relieved. He carries me up the stairs to my room and puts me down on my feet.
