For these past couple of years, me and my father had to do what we had to do to keep our heads above water. Sometimes that meant not seeing each other or speaking for months and along the way you get used to it, even when you’re standing in the same room. Since we came to the village all I could think about was Iris and the prophecy and it wasn’t like my father was just standing around. He was spending quality time with Hannah and training some of the Fey warriors and teaching the chief about Lances war strategies, after all he was still a beta and he wanted to work. He would always come check-up to see how I was doing but kept his distance when it came to Iris, because he knew he still had to regain her trust and to be quite honest he wasn’t ready to face her yet.
