IRIS POV
After we returned to the village I couldn't look at Eric as we shifted back. I could feel his eyes burning the back of my head to look at him as we walked behind Gerard, but I just couldn't. When I saw Lance it reminded me of everything that happened and how there was an actual war coming. My heart was torn between Lucas and Eric, but my mind was focused on one thing and that was war. I needed to get ready and be strong. I wouldn't waste my tears on something I couldn’t control.
