I was relieved beyond imagination when I felt the tug on my mental connection with Recca. I blinked and found myself back in her panic room.
Lilly ran a brush through her neon pink hair. "I know in real life I’ve just been laying here all night, but I am exhausted!"
"Almost home, Lilly, hang in there. In an hour, we meet with Jurgen Schultz. Once the Oculist Amulet is in safe hands, I’ll take you home."
"Thanks. I sure could use a bath and a glass of wine."
