DUSTINS POV I was on my way to wish Craig a happy birthday when I caught him and Kiara on their way out. "Where are you two headed?" I asked them. "back home evidently" Kiara said with a nervous chuckle. I looked at Craig. "back home?" At that moment I wish I could mind link with Craig but technically we weren't part of the same pack and that luxury was only reserved for pack members and mates. The look on his face was not relaxed but one of solicitude. "For my birthday I wanted to see where Kiara grew up." and he grabbed her hand in the passenger seat. "what's going on?" I mind linked Kiara. "no idea" she mind linked me back. I sighed. "Well, okay. tell everyone I said Hi. Love you sis.." I said to her.
