Chapter 3: Jealousy II

CHAPTER 3 (II)

The practice started immediately after we got to our positions, we are rushing not only because the competition is near but also because our choreographer Nika which is also part of the team will have to fly to Japan to visit her mother who is currently at the hospital as she suffered a heart attack. The rest of us will have to practice on our own in the next few days which will be a struggle.

While practicing there is a part wherein me and Kino will have to get close to each other in order for me to be able to put my head on his neck to create the illusion of me biting him and it was nerve racking as Kino kept on smiling mischievously as if he is planning something, thankfully when we got over that part he didn't do anything stupid. It was actually fun to do and if you're gonna ask that'll be my favorite step as it embodies our theme, which is bloody.

The next key part of the choreography is coming up, this time Toru and Tiff is partnered with each other. They executed it flawlessly and I kid you not Tiff literally had stars in her eyes when she went close to Toru. She is obviously out there to annoy me as when she got close to him she gave me a look, now I might just be paranoid but nothing is impossible when it comes to that girl. Since she joined the team I'd always feel uncomfortable around her and now that she's took a liking towards Toru it's just ugh I can't comprehend it at all. And what the hell am I feeling right now! There is a pang on my chest that seems to be triggered whenever Toru and Tiff have to get close with each other. "Ugh self are you even okay stop thinking of absurd things". Kino went close to me and whispered "Hey are you okay you seem unfocused" we are still dancing right now so I have to play it cool and replied "I'm fine no worries it's nothing that important" he nodded and gave me a reassuring smile.

The practice ended on a good note excluding the part where Tiff was included cause she's literally annoying I can even see that Kino is also annoyed by her. I guess we both can feel something's off with her. "Kyu!!! Can you be honest with me, do I look like I'm a mess right now, do I smell off or something? Toru's face look odd when we were dancing together" speaking of the devil. No nothing's wrong with you physically, but personality wise? Eww, of course I didn't say that out loud instead I replied "You don't look like a mess Tiff, Toru might just be stressed since he's been going back and forth between the dance studio and his agency." She looked relieved after hearing a piece of my mind, gladly after that she left me and Kino alone. We chitchatted a bit until Toru cut us off "Kyu let's go I will drop you off since I'm gonna pass by your apartment." he then turned to Kino and addressed him "Hey man, you're dance style is a bit too much on the eyes, tone it down a bit and you're good." his tone sounds provoking but Kino just laughed it off ignoring what Toru just said, he even looked at me mockingly then proceeded to leave.

What just happened? I then started gathering my things instead of dwelling on the encounter a minute ago since Toru is waiting for me. We rode in his car today but the rest of the drive we just sat there silent and when we arrive I was the one to break the silence and said a simple goodbye. He just looked at me and drove off. What's wrong with him? Maybe he got annoyed by Tiff since she mentioned that he was making odd faces when we were practicing. But regardless the reason I'll just try to understand him he must be just tired or something.
