Chapter 3: Jealousy

CHAPTER 3

The job application disaster is still fresh on my mind but I have to get up early today since we still have a dance practice, the tournament is near and we still have so much to improve in our choreography.

I got to the studio quite early as I want to warm up alone and try to practice the part where I lack. I don't want to be a burden to the team that's why I really want to improve so bad. I thought there wouldn't be anyone there but boy was I wrong there sits the prettiest woman I've ever seen, she's a part of our dance team and she's also so good in dancing that's why she's the center. Now I can't help but get jealous. Before I even got halfway inside the room she called me "Hey can I talk to you?" I literally came here to practice not to chitchat but here I am "Uhm hi to you to, of course you can talk to me feel comfortable I guess." After I said that I saw her nod then proceeded to ask "Does Toru have a girlfriend? I don't see him around women that much, and I'm a bit infatuated with him. I'm sorry that I'm saying this to you, it's just that I've seen that you are close to him almost like a brother." I rolled my eyes at the brother statement, bold of her to assume. Not only that why the hell does she feel the need to confess to me. "I honestly don't know if he has a girlfriend or something. You can just ask him personally if you want." I then suggested. "But I specifically said it to you because I'm hoping that you'll have a bit of an advice, like what's he's ideal type, what he likes in a woman, his favorite color and food-" I tuned in to what she was saying "How am I supposed to know all that and if I do why would I say it to you, you might be a stalker" she seems offended with what I said but I couldn't care less I really have to warm up.

After what feels like eternity, the other members came one by one, finally. I was thinking of skipping this practice if they don't arrive soon, I really don't want to be alone with that woman.

"Is it required of you to be sour every time we have a schedule" I got startled as Kino approached me, he's one of the friend I made in the team. "Well Tiff right there has a crush on Toru and won't stop bugging me about it when I arrived here early, as pretty as she is she's also pretty annoying." Kino laughed at this statement. He then patted my head something that I absolutely hate and he's aware of this that's why he does it every single time.

"Don't worry she won't be able to steal Toru away from you." Kino replied, laughing hysterically. This man, ugh. How dare he, someone might hear him and think that me and Toru is in a relationship. I then looked at him embarrassed "Yah you got it wrong you better stop that nonsense." I'm starting to look like a tomato while saying that, not even gonna lie my heart literally skipped a beat with his statement. "You look like you're enjoying the thought of him and you together huh" he really is testing my nerves. Before I can hurt him I instead walked away towards the mirror, the practice is about to start.
