RE: To Redo Part 2

 Aeries took a haggard breath first, he thought back to the last three weeks and replayed all that had happened in his mind, what he would have done differently, now that he had a chance.

“Initiate sequence!!”

“Ding!! Time Leap sequence initiated, trying to form Rift between space time, using necessary parameters. [Your Live span]

 Bridging failed, new life span, 800,000 years -200.

  ‘So it siphons my vitality to act like a drive in boosting the bridge formation, no wonder it hurriedly converted my EXP and Yuan coins to increase my life span. All my COINS!! No need to fret too much now.’

 By now, Rogue had come close to standing on Aeries head, His face filled with disbelief and nostalgia. He nervously clutched spike he formed from the natural materials found in the Earth. He was torn between letting Aeries live or killing him. On one hand, Aeries had inadvertently climbed close to a sort of tier two bond with the System, He now just didn't see it as a tool or a ware house full of assorted weapons, skills and techniques and artifacts; but now he see it more as a living being, an Artifact with a soul and spirit, albeit incomplete since it was shared to the rest of the 3000 chosen.

   On the other hand, it felt to him as if Aeries had barged upon his most intimate relationship and had forcefully torn them apart. Before it was Him and the System... Now its Him and the system, and Aeries.

 "This won't do, It just won't do.. I can't have you invading upon my everything and not do anything about it at all. Me being closer to Mama than the rest of you is the only thing that makes me unique. Everything I did was to get even more stronger and get closer to the goal Mama set for me... ME even if it means going against the entire world. Firstly the world never even loved me, or had any care whether I died or lived. Whether I sleep hungry or I get eaten by Bears. So why should I even have an inkling of Love or Affection for this Cru- cruel world that left me alone and in pain.

  And there's you, showing up here to thwart all my set goals. You came with your deadly blows and a mind that just wanted to Kill, Kill. You say you want to save all the helpless and hopeless yet the only thing in your mind is blood lust and dark revenge.. You even destroyed the only person ready to stand near you in death just to land a killing blow on one of us... Hypocrite. you're the major scum of the earth. " Rogue started off with a soft whisper but gradually increased his voice as he let his suppressed feelings out. 

  "Can you stop?" Aeries voice sudden weak and feeble, but unlike before there was a certain calm to his voice and his eyes shone with clarity and conviction. "Blah Blah Blah Blah, could it be that you have yet to understand? *Coughs* Everything you have just said now wasn't directed to me was it? That was just you trying to convince yourself that all this madness was good as long as you achieve your goals. You say the world never cared, HE HE HE, Is wouldn't be called a world if it did." 

  He proceeded to weakly raise his hand up and pointed to the sky. "You see this here, even I don't understand why people can be so cruel, unforgiving and heartless... I don't understand why no one helps the poor, or why the weak can never find a head rest... But I had made a promise to myself NEVER to be the same. If the world doesn't accept me, I won't accept it either. If I want to shout out loud I will without thinking about the consequences.

  This my hands, this right hand, had been tasked to do all that it can never to be on the loosing side, on the side that stays down low and struggle for daily bread... never again will I be that weak kid that watched his parents and siblings die in front of him and all he could do was cry, curse and beg.

  So I want to grow stronger and protect everything I love. I want to act like Superman some day, save countless lives and feel cool in my heart. I want to wipe all the tears of the weary and spread out money like a faulty ATM machine.

  And that's the difference between me and you. Putting it clearly, your goals are selfish and careless. You think about you and you alone, there's no room for intersection of others or a tie others can lean on you, It's never for the people, just your kingpin fantasy. and people like that... Never go far."

   "Ha! this is as comical as it is this Sick. Look at where your Dreams and Aspirations got you, At he end of it all the one who hardens his heart and makes the right decisions is the only winner. Is that how you really feel when you know you're going to die now? Don't kid with me, I know you feel anguish and pain, definitely hatred to every single person that caused your death.. That's including the people you were going to save - Which you, unfortunately could not -. you must feel like you're a loser rig-" 

  "Neh, Rogu-e, I just have this one question for you, Who was the person who orchestrated this madness, it wasn't you was it? you don't look it."

  Since there was no need to lie, Rogue stared at Aeries and said with a straight face. " Scourge, there's no need to pretend to be a Saint. we all have killed. This whole Plan was mapped out by The Fool, what hyperbole. For a girl with a name like that to coup up this entire thing. Truly is a-" 

   "Rogue, next time, we are going to continue this conversation. I feel myself in you... only that I never fell."

  Rogue frowned at Aeries interruption and wanted to comment before he suddenly shook in fright, without any hesitation he threw the spike towards Aeries... Alas it was already late. because

  A loud boom resounded throughout the entire city as Aeries suddenly felt a suction force pulling his soul towards a black hole. As if on cue, Several Lightning's as thick as doors struck out from the sky towards Aeries but was blocked as a subtle bubble like field appeared over him. 

  GRRRRAAAH ! !

  Aeries heard the Lightning Scream in fury and cold sweat appeared throughout his body... Wait, it wasn't the lightning screaming out but something else, the THING that manifested that bolt. 

  'I thought it will be as easy as how it was in those Time leap movies, the clock rewinds and shows everything reversing to the set time... s**t! am going to die!'

  Then every where went black and it took some time before he understood that it wasn't him closing his eyes but really the whole place was pitch black.. 'Did I die?' 

  Then his soul form shook, and he appeared in a place seemingly made of of tiny particles of Gold. 

These particles took different forms and sizes with some being as small as dust particles and others as large as Ostrich eggs. Far off he could even see some large ones the size of Asteroids. The only similarities these elements had was there destination, they seem to move towards oblivion with slow motion and a wave like for as if they were suspended in water.

  "Welcome to the River of Time, where all the Lost appears and every thing is entangled with, forever following the sequence... except time."

 Hearing this voice in his head, Aeries was momentarily starlted as it was wholly different from the static monotone voice he had always been hearing, here it was full of life and even contained fluctuating emotions. 

"So you talk Heh"

"This is a set of instructions implanted in me by my master. It is set to play whenever someone could unleash the hidden mission, a mission set to be the second highest and relatively the hardest."

 Aeries did not say anything else but strained his eyes to capture every single detail about this Scary and Malicious place, In his heart he knew he could not come back to this place as easy as before, maybe in the future, a millemia from now.

  The system continued....

 "Whence the River of Time flows, no one knows. some speculate it dissolves when it falls into the mouth of the Chaos, others that it goes on forever.. But after so many years of researching this dimension called Time, only few details have been grasped. Now listen carefully.

  First, Only Souls and some perverse Immortals can travel or bend towards different parts of this River, this is because Souls are basically Pure energies made up of the River of time itself and Chaos. As for those Immortals... Well nothing is left for imagination, This universe is large and diverse, With many oppurtunities spread out in the vast cosmos, Immortals can live up to Billions of years and Dragons can breath fire. People skidding through time isn't that awesome when compared to the realms those Monsters have reached.

    This journey is meant for you and you alone, where you can reach would be dicided only by you. 

  As with every living space, they are monsters and demons littered about in this vast River, do all you can to conceal yourself and act mildly, you are only a perk of dust compared these monsters. , Know that the system would be in a state of rest as the laws of restrictions applies to Inaminate objects too.

 It would be beneficial to you if you absorbed and assimilate some of this time particles." Saying that the System shut off and Aeries was left alone in this boundless place.

  Calming his mind, Aeries did not think too much and stepped out. Immediately he did though, he noticed a problem... Even with the System's Bubble sheilding him from the pressure and collision from the particles, he still could not walk freely as he thought.

  Every hundred steps he took was approximate to a step here. and in this place, Time and Space had suddenly become chaotic and bent. With the System protection, he could walk without fear for his life at this moment, but still this protection did not apply to the bending of time waves and shifting posture.

  That this like huge water waves that just kept on coming in troughs. He was just like a floating cork in that water, although he tried walking swiftly, he was still pushed right to the start with every calm wave that came. After countless steps, he had just moved some few centimeters from his starting position.

 'Again! I had been gifted with this golden opputunity, there is no way in Hell I wouldn't use the best of it.'

  ........... ........ ......... ........... ............. ............. ............... ..... ............. ............. .......... ..

   Could be days? months? or years? Aeries still kept flaunting through with domineeri ng will. All his plans would only kick start after he had successfully surpassed this hurdle set.

  "This! What is that!" After countless number of years - Although it was only a feeling - Aeries saw a looming object in front of him.

  It had appeared from no where and was floating softly on the River. He pushed himself and got vcloser to this thing.

  It looked like a temple of some god. With was adorned with several carvings and murals of battle fields.. bloddied battle fields that always depicted a loss. Aeries felt goosebumps all over, he suddenly felt he had stumbled upon a sacred a=item that had a DO NOT TOUCH sign on it... He tried to slowly shift away from the course of the Temple, lest  they intercept up front, then to his horror he noticed he could not move either backwards or side ways.

   More ever, a suction force appeared in front of him that pulled him closer to this Abominable Temple, this force increased as he got closer to it and finally dragged him towards it..
