The creature finally showed itself, it wasn't an animal, but like the Minotaur in Greek legends... only way bigger, almost 50 times as large. It's husk had the width of a door and the length of a High Jump Sand Field. It itself was gigantic. Towering over 10 meters! It left craters on the ground with each step.

This monster had the teeth that could crush anyone in just a bite. Which it did, almost immediately.

“Everyone Run!!” They finally got out of their charade and scattered like flies in a s*******r house.

Cries ran out at every corner, and people who were late to run far were stamped to paste where ever the monster stepped.

Every few were calm, one of which was Aeries. He had used a full month making ready for any weird, terrifying Mission that would come up.

“Thank fully, none of the Chosen are at the Martial Flying Lord Realm yet. Preferably, they should be at the lower tier of the Martial Great General Realm ” But he knew that was only his wish.

Going into the forest was the craziest idea at this time, as the monster had just come out from there.

“ I need to think fast, where are wild animals more scarce? First, closer to civilization, then closer to the desert or the belt of any sharp gnomes.

Take for instance, the belt between A savannah and. desert. As we progress closer to the desert, one would seldom find the same number of animals... But if we cross to the desert, then a change of habitant occurs!

Shit! Why didn't I listen to the entire lecture back on earth?

Besides, there is just plain forest at angles... What to do?

Aeries mulled over this as he fled from the monster. The most important thing to do now, is to evade this Minotaur.

“Thank the gods, it's only just one of it... meaning, it'll have to choose a direction to pursue. If we all spread to other areas, we should be save.”

In fact, everyone had the same idea. Everyone still alive had unconsciously made a complete circle around the minotaur, and where waiting anxiously for the direction it would choose.

Aeries woke himself up from his fright.

“Minotaurs should be very sensitive to smell. The eyes of the Greek mythological monster were almost non extent... The same with this one... So they should the same thing.

Aeries gritted his teeth and made his debut decision yet... To camouflage as a Plant!!!

Confusing a creature such as this, with blurry sight shouldn't be as hard as one would think.

Aeries easily carved out a vertical tunnel through what would be the most malodorous plant around.

He placed himself in to it, creating just a tiny slit as a visor.

He had to stand still in that position for a while, even after the 'Roaring' sound of the Minotaur was long gone.

Since the Chosens' came in their Soul Avatars, blood and other bodily matter wasn't littered in the kill zone, or it would've brought countless scavengers.

‘Where should I go next?’

An arbitrary choice was no good. Instead, he took a peek at the topography of where he was from a tall tree before deciding to spend a night in a cave.

“Who! ” Aeries suspiciously peered at his surroundings, just now he felt pairs of eyes at his back... Not just one.

With his heightened senses, He focused on a tree not so far away.

“Are you kidding me!?”

There was someone with the same camouflage idea as his. But instead of being a 'Plant' , the other chose to become a freaking caterpillar!

‘This Minotaur must be as blind as a bat to not have seen him.’

The sense of being a caterpillar, was just figurative. The person carefully twined his arms and legs round the trunk of a talk tree, and made a covering of leaves... also, he used branches to pin at his side, mimicking the false feet of a normal caterpillar.

‘Only someone brainless or completely blind would fall for that trick.’

“Please — take me with you!”

“Are you kidding me!?” Black lines appeared on Aeries temples. He had chosen to ignore the brat and move out silently, not knowing trouble would take the initiative of provoking him.

“No thanks. Have you forgotten? We are all rivals here” He moved forward,

“I understand. That is why I've come up with the best proposal” The boy panted as he struggled to keep up with Aeries increasing pace...

“I don't want to hear about it, I want to be alone.”

As if oblivious to his words, the boy continued, “Why don't we form a team! We can survive better than when alone... And if we meet another monster weaker than this... We can even kill it!”

“No thank you. Meet another person”

“None of them would fit in to the role as you. We are the perfect partners!”

A part of Aeries warned him to mind his damn business, but in the end, curiosity got the best of him, “Why did you say that?”

‘Does he know my Techniques or maybe where I came from in my previous life?’

“Of course, you can't hide it from me. The way you concealed yourself from that monster was as natural as passing gas to you. If am right, you must have gotten a concealment innate skill, and even hid from plenty powerhouses.

Aeries suddenly fasten his strides to fit almost 180miles per hour, trees and shrubs all turned to a shade of green besides him.

He eventually found the cave he had planned to stay,

“Normally, staying in a naturally formed cave is designated to be foolish. Since it's sun set, animals would be moving toward their dens... But it'll be a totally different story if I create one and block the entrance!”

The new problem he got a headache thinking about was how to haul this pest out of his side. 'Even at my full sprint, he still caught up. I shouldn't overlook him.’

“Boss! Where should we go now? Am afraid if we don't discover a place to stay for the night, We would be eaten by those crazy monsters!”

After thinking about it, he speculated that it was probably because every Soul Avatar was a sophisticated deal of combined energy. And The Seth's Eyes function is to discern energy radiation in his surroundings.

‘The closest Demon monster is about 800meters away. If my guesses are right, we are walking on a tight rope right now.'

A manageable cave was formed. Aeries and the other boy, Ellen, struggled to fit in before sealing the cave.

They covered all traces of human activity and even masked their smell with a disgusting smelly sap from a tree.

Aeries had long carved in to Ellen's witty talks. He answered some and totally ignored the others.
