    Happiness and anxiety flooded Aeries, Since his mother already accepted his request all that was left has been done it now time to go,

 After making a vow in front of his mother, Along with the two mercenaries a man and a woman-maybe they were husband and wife- hired to be his guards, Aeries was ready to go!. Vowing in front of a higher Authority before going to fulfill a task was mandatory in the royal houses, Although Aeries vow was different from the guards, more of a 'am not going to cause trouble mum' childish promise, he still did it with etiquette.

"Son, remember what I told you okay, always follow the directions of the guards, they are all trained and have survived in the outer regions for as long as 10 years!." His mother ranked off.

"And you, keep my son save, as you've been paid to, or else......" Aeries thought it was a funny sight as his mother tried to make her 'am a monster, don't mess with me' look, but the guards shivered, well at least it worked.

 After giving him a quick good bye kiss and cross checking all his equipment, his mother hesitantly allowed him to get into the carriage, he saw her waving at him from the window all through until they passed the horizon.

"Aiya, Only child Syndrome, it's because you pet him too much that he turned out this way" Aeries murmured warily .

    Their Journey was uneventful, what can a 13 year old kid discuss with a couple of grown ups. when he was hungry they would rest and he'll eat the rations his mother dutifully package for him, then when he wanted to do his business.... other than that, the male guard pulled the carriage through stopping  only when it was night to sleep, In the nights Aeries would hear occasional muffled moaning coming from the woods. He'll have to cover his ears and pretend nothing happened the next morning. At least he could remove the probability of them being married because the kind of vulgarities they would spurt while doing what adults do.

'Can't they be more discreet? do they think that just because am 13 years old am still oblivious to adult practices?... This body previous owner was the very definition of a Lascivious little brat. He had already started peeping through 'Channel O' in doors of brothels when he was 11 and before his death, he had saved most of his coins for when he celebrates his coming of age, at age 15, he was going to in is own words "Bash his virginity in a very grand way..... by having his own great sev*nsome." lol

They finally reached the checkpoint after three days. Before one can enter, he must submit a request form to the authorities at the check point, the guards were excluded from taking the test because, they were already in Martial Warrior Realm, A simple blow would destroy their evaluating apparatus. What the former him did before he entered secretly was simple, 

Since I don't have a form, then I'll just bribe all of you, I don't believe that you can still reject me when I throw 30 silver cons, 3x your monthly salary in your face. not even, then I'll make it 50, 80 or even 1 gold coin.

  Aeries didn't do that this time but submitted the request form his mother gave him, much to the disappointment on the officials in charge of guarding the gate. They use this way to get extra donuts to spend in gambling, unconcerned spending and in the brothels, like the saying goes 'What comes cheap would not be appreciated' the would never do the same with the monthly pay.... 

After that he proceeded to take their test to evaluate him before he can go in, see if he's fit.

"What kind of test do you want, we have the speed, power and accuracy test, choose one of them" The bored logistics officer said.

"Ehmmm, can I think about it?" 

"What! kid we see children like you every time, after coming all the way to prove themselves here, they will now chicken out in the last moment" The logistics officer looked at Aeries proudly, Normally when the kids hear this, they would refutingly ask him if he had ever gone to the Red Blood forest in the first place, and then he'll begin his story....

   "Eh, No I wanted to figure out the quickest one I can take that'll not spend much of my energy." Aeries said embarrassedly.

'Oi Oi, this wasn't suppose to happen, why aren't you asking me about my adventures!' If Aeries was to hear this is would shake his head in dismay, Everybody has his own set of hobbies, yours are........ better to be left behind.

"Then that will be the Archery test, if you're good with the bow go and take the test, it's just by the corner over there" The attendant said without looking at Aeries anyone, he had lost interest.

     Aeries then proceeded to the evaluation arena with his long bow which he had brought from the mayor his father's weaponry-Along with and axe, bracers etc.- In his new memories, the long bow was made from high quality dark wood that was gotten from the middle region of the Red Forest Range.

 The front of the bow was in a circular arc while the back was straight, about 1.8m in length. Although there were also shortcomings of the bow, namely that the archer need to have a strong body constitution to pull the bow, since it was harder to pull due to its strong materials. Great firing skills as well as the ability to be a silent assassin with the bow, quiet and accurate, one shot takes one head, a thousand shots destroys ten thousands. this was all incomparable if one uses Qi to coat the bow....

 The true con should be the pricing of the bow, only aristocrats families cold afford them.

The pros are that it increases the speed, range and damage of the arrows shot. The sheer rate of fire of the long bow could create an effect like an artillery barge.

    True to the attendants word, the tested was deemed to be easy, simply putting a hole through a dummy 50 meters apart.

With his history as a farmer and hunter in his previous life, when Aeries held the bow, he could not help but feel a trace of excitement, not only was he used to 'aim and fire' in his previous life, the father of the old owner had tried training his sons in the way of the sword, spear and bow, although he always behaved like a dummy even the most stupidest person would feel enlightenment after drawing the sword 10,000 times. Taking a deep breath, he held unto the bow with his left, while using the thumb, index and middle finger of his right hand to pull back the drawstring, using his strength to draw he took aim and released almost simultaneously.

    The soldier's eyes all lit up,

"Nice shot kid, Natural talent with the bow, you made a clean hit, and that your perfect Army standard posture is also good" which such precision in posture and all, how could Scorch not hit bulls eye.

    Although he felt his arms shaken he was a 13 year old kid anyways, although his stat increased as he started cultivating, it was still to low, although Scorch knew that if he were to use Qi to enchant the bow the of times he could draw it to a full crescent would have been different, 

       "Alright that's enough for the test, you've passed, take your stamped form and proceed to the entry point."

"Ah, that's all for the test?"

"Why, you thought it would be harder, you're going to the outer region only with two guards of the Martial Warrior stage, You will not need to do anything there self, All we're doing is just for formality" 

Scorch took he belongings and the form and joined the two Guards already waiting at the entry...............
